Model Heidi Klum took over six hours to put on her Halloween 2023 costume!
The 50-year-old model best known as the “Queen of Halloween” tries to come up with new and creative costumes every year. This year, fans think he may have outdone himself with the amazing costume that enlisted the help of about ten Cirque du Soleil performers to pull it off!
Heidi Klum Spent SIX HOURS Getting Ready For Her Halloween Party!
The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model is known for her elaborate Halloween costumes, but the outfit she wore to her annual party at New York’s Marquee on Tuesday may have been one of the most elaborate yet. The “America’s Got Talent” judge admitted that her costume has a lot of “moving parts” when she spoke to Page Six Style through her prosthetic beak at the star-studded event.
“It took about six hours to do this,” he says, admitting that he’s “not too worried” about any wardrobe malfunctions. The only thing he said he was worried about was getting glue in his eyes! While the feathery lashes were part of her party prep, Heidi revealed that she wasn’t the only one who helped her put on her elaborate costume. “There were a lot of people, there were 10 artists there, painting with me at the same time,” he said, referring to the Cirque Du Soleil stars who served as his “feathers”.
Heidi reveals that, since someone acts as the “legs” of the costume, there is a lot of work to be done. “So there are a lot of moving parts and people need this and that,” he said. “You know, [hair]spray, and so much commotion with so many people doing this, you know?”
Her Husband Tom Kaulitz Comes Dressed Like a Giant Peacock Egg!
Although she enlisted the help of her husband, Tom Kaulitz, last year, she revealed that this year she wanted to make it a group costume. “I thought it would be fun to do a costume with a group of people and so I came up with the peacock idea and did this with 10 people and all made an amazing formation and then had fun,” she said. “We thought about how it would be positioned and who would get what kind of leotard and how it would be painted so that from the front it would look like a peacock.”
The Tokio Hotel guitarist came dressed as a giant peacock egg to match his wife’s theme. “It’s not easy to come up with something suitable,” he told the outlet. “So peacocks, we thought, you know, eggs can fit. Big eggs!”
Heidi says “We’re really stuck on eggs [idea] immediately,” but admitted that very little “brainstorming” went into the costume itself because she knew what she wanted to be this year. “I just don’t want to do something similar,” he said. “I think I’ve done a lot of head-to-toe prosthetics and I’ve done the same thing, so I wanted to do something that people haven’t seen before and this is for me.”
Heidi Klum Is Famous For Her Costumes!
Last year, the German musician dressed as a fisherman while Heidi went as a giant earthworm. Last year, Heidi told the outlet that it was very difficult for her to move in the giant costume. “This is one of the best I can say, just because it’s so unusual and the size is so big and it’s weird,” he said at the time. “It’s hard for me to move. I don’t actually have arms or legs. When I fall, I need someone to help me get back up. I’m kind of stuck in it, you know? It feels a little crowded.”
In the past, Heidi has dressed up as Jessica Rabbit, an old lady, Fiona from “Shrek,” and various other outfits. So far, the response to Heidi’s 2023 Halloween costume has been positive, even if it’s confusing!
