‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’ is what comes to mind when we hear Jennifer Coolidge’s recent revelation about “The White Lotus.”
The 61-year-old, who played Tanya McQuoid until she was killed off at the end of season two, wanted the worst outcome for Greg Hunt [played by Jon Gries] — her on-screen husband in the hit series.

Although she won’t appear in the upcoming third season of “The White Lotus,” Coolidge knows exactly how she wants her death to be addressed on the award-winning series. During the conversation that took place as part of Diversity“Actors on Actors” series, the 61-year-old actor told “Shameless” actor Jeremy Allan White:
“My hope for Jon is that he’s not done with Greg. I hope there are some appearances for evil Greg. I think he should have, I don’t know, ended up in a meat grinder.

He described that series creator Mike White “was looking for a big Italian opera ending, and it was big and dramatic,” adding that he wanted his character to “die for a lot of reasons.” He also admitted:
“But I also think Tanya a lot. Maybe people will get sick of it in another season. Maybe people will say, ‘Oh my God. Get rid of Tanya!’”
The “2 Broke Girls” alum noted that if her character “could come back in any form,” it could be as a seagull that would “poke Greg in the eye.” Her desire to see revenge enacted is not impossible, as Tanya’s death could have been avoided if her husband had not been so desperate for his fortune.
He goes on a shooting spree when he discovers his latest plan to kill her on a luxury yacht, successfully eliminating the agents placed on the boat to kill her.
Unfortunately, Tanya accidentally slips off the side of the boat as she prepares to escape to the hotel. Speaking about the whole scene, Coolidge revealed that he had no plans to “get on the boat again.”
The “Shotgun Wedding” actress further explained that she was “surprised” by the event “because we were filming it regularly, hanging out with the guy.” He concluded:
“When you’re on a boat, and you’re in the middle of the ocean, and there’s nowhere to go, what if your cast mates hate you? They can only reject you. Anyone can get rid of you on a boat.”

The Blast observed that the Primetime Emmy Award winner opened up about the missing ingredients in her love life earlier this year. The actress revealed during an interview that she is single until now because she hasn’t found the “right” person yet. In his words:

When he took the stage to give his acceptance speech, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts alumnus said:
“I was surprised to see how I spilled my heart!” she told the publication about her acceptance speech. “I stood in front of that crowd, and I forgot where I was. I have said a lot of my feelings. I’m not trying to be funny — I’m serious.”
People must be excited to see her win the award, especially since she lost her first nomination to Julia Garner for “Ozark.”
