Here’s How Nick Cannon Feels About The Cancellation Of ‘Red Table Talk’

Nick Cannon is not on Jada’s team!

The multi-hyphenate star is known for his prolific achievements after fathering twelve children with multiple women. Despite often making headlines for his controversial affairs, the California native has no sympathy for fellow trendsetters.

Following news of Jada Pinkett-Smith’s “Red Table Talk” cancellation, the 42-year-old didn’t mince words while celebrating the end of the Facebook Watch show. Read on to find out what the shocking entertainer thinks.

During a recent episode of his new radio show, “The Daily Cannon,” the rapper-turned-TV personality shared his honest take on Meta’s cancellation of the “Red Table Talk” series.

As Courtney Bee, one of the show’s co-hosts, read an article about the cancellation to her colleagues, the “Gigolo” artist interrupted the comedian to describe the situation as “good.” When other anchors voiced their displeasure, the entertainer opened up about his feelings.

According to the turban fanatic, the Oscar drama between Chris Rock and Will Smith would never have happened if the “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” star had never joined his wife’s show. “If there was no Red Table Talk, then he wouldn’t have slapped Chris Rock,” claimed the Californian.

Hearing voices, Abby De La Rosa asked if the father of three believes Pinkett-Smith’s talk show should be canceled because of what happened at the 94th Academy Awards. Cannon said he didn’t like the program, “I’m talking about that toxic desk.”

Defending the now-disbanded Facebook Watch series, Dj and Bee stated that “Red Table Talk” is an “honest table.” Unfortunately, the 42-year-old’s mind was made up as he turned their support to another attack.

“Too much honesty can get your a** slapped in the face! We’ve seen this,” the Nickelodeon alum said. “A good slap is what people need sometimes,” De La Rosa retorted, causing her lover to once again label the table as “toxic.”

The “Drumline” star’s hatred of Pinkett-Smith’s program seems to stem from her love for her husband. The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award winner believes Smith wouldn’t have become the subject of a terrible internet meme if he and his wife had never discussed their issues— AKA their engagement story— on the show.

While Bee insisted that the award-winning actor chose to be on the program, Cannon disputed that, saying the “Bad Boys” star couldn’t avoid being on the show taped at his home.

Slamming the couple for regularly airing their complicated relationship on “Red Table Talk,” the multi-hyphenate star portrayed the pair as former “royalty” who ruined their prestige by airing their dirty laundry publicly.

“I just want to mind my Black business. I don’t want to be in somebody else’s kitchen,” the TV personality quipped. “Keep that to yourselves.”

The “Underclassman” star’s view could be considered hypocritical considering his sordid relationships with multiple women, which he often brings up in the media. Although he loves to share details about his personal life, the video ends with Cannon’s final insult, “F**k that table.”

‘Red Table Talk’ Has Been Conquered By Meta Along With Other Shows For VR Content

After five seasons filled with emotion and controversial affairs, “Red Table Talk” will no longer air on Facebook Watch. The program ran for half a decade following its debut on May 7, 2018.

The streaming platform is washing its hands of the talk show business to focus on “creating VR experiences in Meta Horizon Worlds.” This new business venture led to the tragic loss of approximately 20,000 employees of the parent company.

Amid the mass cancellations, shows like Pinkett-Smith’s program, its spinoff, “Red Table Talk: The Estefans,” “Piece of Mind with Taraji,” “Unfiltered: Paris Jackson,” and more have been canceled. Meta’s decision to drop this original plan follows a similar move by Google in 2022.

The platform uses its YouTube division to focus on user-generated content. Likewise, Meta’s new projects include virtual reality concepts like “The Shaq’tacular Spectacular” and the organization’s first VR comedy special with comedians, including Pete Holmes and Nikki Glaser.
