You see, he made a promise to his mother, Andrea Thompson, after she died unexpectedly last month.
She promised to continue to care for Thompson’s younger sister, Amari, who suffers from epilepsy.
In her Instagram tribute to Andrea, Koko wrote, “Just know, I promise, Amari will be fine. We will all take care of him, help him and protect him. Your boys will be fine because they have their guardian Angel by their side.”

Khloe has been by Tristan and his family’s side since Andrea’s tragic loss.
“Khloé loves Tristan’s brother Amari and she intends to be there to help take care of him every step of the way. Khloé has a heart of gold, and she felt it was the least she could do after the tragic loss of their mother,” the source revealed to Us Weekly. “Khloé knows how hard it is to lose a parent and she has a motherly nature about her. As she stated in her online tribute to Andrea, she will help take care of Amari no matter what.”

The source went on to explain, “Khloé has no intention of getting back with Tristan but no matter what happens between them, he will always be the father of her children, and her family.”
Despite several cheating scandals and endless infidelity, Khloe is getting closer to her loved ones. This was something he would keep with him forever.

Thompson broke her silence on her mother’s passing earlier this month.
He shared a long tribute to Andrea in which he apologized for the “wrong decisions I made in my life,” and was “ashamed and sick.”
Thompson’s tribute continued, “You raised me better than I could ever show you. But I’ve also learned sorry isn’t enough. Actions are more effective than words. So I won’t just say sorry. Stay tuned for how I will show the world what a great boy you are raising. I will show you that even if we fall & make mistakes, we will get back up. You are my motivation. Stand by me when I become the man I know you always believed in. I will make you proud, I promise!”

He also promised his mother in heaven that Amari would be taken care of.
“Mama, Amari will be taken care of. I will protect her, love her & do anything in the world to make sure she is ok,” he wrote. “I know they say time heals everything but I don’t think this pain will go away. We have so many memories & so many more that I want to share with you. We will still share them but now from heaven.”
