The “Friends” actress took to social media just five days ago, sharing an image of what appears to be from a real jacuzzi, with a terrifying caption. “Oh, so the swirling warm water makes you feel good? I’m Mattman,” Perry wrote.

The photo was taken at night because all you can see is Perry’s silhouette, who appears to be wearing a headset, but if you look closely, you’ll also see a crescent moon peeking out in the night sky and bubbles from the hot tub.

After the heartbreaking news of Matthew Perry’s death, the actor’s fans flooded the comments on his last creepy post.

One user, who is a huge fan of Perry’s character, Chandler Bing, in the sitcom “Friends”, commented, “REST IN PEACE. By far my favorite actor. I can’t tell you how many times I saw myself with Chandler’s sense of humor. I grew up watching ‘Friends’, and I still watch it to this day. I know every line by heart. I can’t even begin to express how sad I am right now. Heaven now has the funniest people.”

Another fan stated, “Forever grateful for all the joy you bring into my life. Will always remember you and continue to see you every night ❤️.”

Before his tragic death, Matthew Perry opened up about his life, career and struggles with addiction in his recent 2022 memoir, titled, “Friends, Lovers, and Big Awful Things.”

“[I was] at my highest point on ‘Friends,’ the highest point of my career, an iconic moment on that iconic show,” he explained in an interview promoting his memoir. “When you’re a drug addict, everything is math. I don’t do it to feel high or to feel good. I’m definitely not a party person; I just want to sit on my couch, take five Vicodin, and watch a movie. That was heaven for me. It’s not anymore.”

In his memoirs, he also revealed that he underwent 14 operations on his stomach after he was told he had a “2% chance of survival”.

“The doctor told my family that I had a two percent chance of living,” she told People at the time. “I was put on something called an ECMO machine, which does all the breathing for your heart and lungs. And that’s called Hail Mary. No one survived that.”

But one of the most interesting things that the actor said during his book tour, is that he wants to be remembered “as a man who lived life, loved well, lived well, and helped people. What came across me was a good thing and not something bad.”
