“Alec had to sleep in a safe room for him to walk around in for the first few days after his hip surgery and Carmen, Alec, and I went out for a bit and we went back to, um, the cats left some surprises in the room, um, poop,” he explained.
“Because some of them are babies and cats are usually clean but sometimes it happens, especially with babies. So yes. Um, you can imagine that he’s not that excited to see it, and then Carmen, like, jumps in and he’s like, ‘This never happened.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, it’s definitely stuck on their butt, and, like, just a nasty little thing.'”
“They, like, don’t know what to do so they just have to, like, clean themselves on the furniture in the room you’re staying in because that seems like a good idea,” she said with a laugh. “Um. Yes. That’s him.”

On May 30, Hilaria took to Instagram to share a photo of the “Supercell” actor lying in a hospital bed. He smiled weakly at the camera while Hilaria smiled beside him, her head resting on his shoulder.
“Alec got a new hip today… it was long overdue. We’ve been through a lot together… as your partner and as you heal, I really want you to leave this chapter of chronic pain so bad and improve your quality of life,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you to Dr. Davidovitch, Dr. Miller, Dr. Golden, Dr. Furgiuele, nurses, pt, ot, staff and other wonderful people who graciously got him safely through this.”
