Hollywood Super Agent Spencer Baumgarten’s Family At War Over His Massive Estate

The children of Hollywood legend Spencer Baumgarten are fighting for rights to his estate and accusing his ex-girlfriend and caretaker of elder abuse.

According to court documents recently obtained by The Blast, the late manager’s daughters — Jayne Isabelle, Bayley Kathleen, and Kate Elisabeth, sued his ex-girlfriend and guardian for part of his estate and shares in his business days before he died.

Baumgarten Child Slams Ex-Girlfriend With Elder Abuse Allegations

In the lawsuit, Jayne and her siblings, Bayley and Kate, claim they should have received money from a trust their father signed in 2019. They claim his ex-girlfriend, Kimberly Boyd, a Canadian, tricked their father into giving her a lot of money on -the day before his death.

The siblings are suing Boyd for fraud and financial abuse, saying it was illegal how he was able to obtain residency in their father’s four-bedroom home and more than $1.3 million. They used a law called the Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act to pursue the case.

They also say Boyd should not inherit anything from the Trust because of what he did. While acknowledging that Boyd, who cared for the deceased, had a duty to care for her basic needs, the Baumgarten siblings alleged that she abused her position of trust to access her financial accounts.

He allegedly transferred money meant for Amanah and Spencer’s daughter to himself. The lawsuit seeks to hold Boyd responsible for exploiting the deceased and taking advantage of the Hollywood star while she was vulnerable.

The family claims an amendment to the trust was signed just THREE days before his death, giving Boyd the right to live in Spencer’s home at the Trust’s expense and receive $200,000 upon vacating.

Additionally, the purported transfer of shares to Boyd after his death, made while he was “incapacitated and unconscious,” would have allowed the transfer of at least $160,000 in royalty payments for Boyd’s benefit unless the court intervened.

Curiously, a photo was taken by his family just days before his death that clearly shows he was in no position to sign important legal documents. We are told it will be used as evidence in this case.

Jayne, Bayley and Kate believe Boyd’s actions were “reckless, oppressive, deceitful and malicious.” As a result, they sought punitive damages as a remedy.

Additionally, the family said a criminal investigation is underway after they reported the transfer of money to Boyd’s account to the LAPD.
