Crystal Hefner is still sharing insights about her marriage to Hugh Hefner and her time in the mansion.
In a recent podcast interview, she discussed the limited control she has over her own body, including not being able to make the decision to get implants during her marriage to the Playboy founder.

In recent weeks, Crystal has been revealing her life with Hugh while promoting her new memoir, “Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself.”
She continued down that path when she appeared on a recent episode of “The Skinny Confidential” podcast, where she revealed that she has no control over the size of her implants.
According to him, the decision on the size of the implant was made by Hugh – an action he described as a “judgment call.” Describing the situation, Crystal said:
“The doctor just inserted it. Looking at those pictures at the time, I looked like— a doll from China. Like, it’s embarrassing. It’s like a prop to me.”
The 37-year-old previously revealed that he had his implants removed in 2016 due to health complications.
Although she initially thought she had Lyme disease, Crystal soon discovered she was dealing with Breast Implant Disease, where the implants are damaged and potentially poison the body, causing a variety of symptoms. Speaking about her symptoms while on the podcast, the former “Girls Next Door” star stated:
“I’m getting worse and worse…Brain fog. I know I have words, but I can’t. I couldn’t, like, get it out of my brain. My whole body was, like, burning and burning.”
Crystal hinted at the severity of her illness, revealing that during surgery, her doctor – Dr. Lu-Jean Feng – had to use an “open heart surgery tool” to scrape part of the implant shell from his rib cage.
“Implants are rough. There are so many chemicals in it that are not natural at all. Like if it doesn’t come from the ground… Why do we put it in our body?” she added, before sharing that she felt immediate relief after the procedure. In his words:
“When I came out of surgery, my lungs felt like they had doubled in size. Like, whoa, I can breathe. The pain in my neck disappeared instantly. I was like, this is the first time I’ve had surgery where, you know, you wake up better… I’m happy.”

Details of Crystal’s implants and subsequent health challenges emerged after she discussed her choice to move away from the Hefner name and return to her maiden name, Harris.
As The Blast reported, the model revealed her decision during an appearance on Rachel Uchitel’s “Miss Understood” podcast in January. In that conversation, Rachel asked about the influence of Hefner’s name on Crystal.
Crystal, who was Hugh’s third and final wife, shared that her late husband’s secretary was responsible for changing her last name to match the late Playboy boss after their 2012 wedding.
Therefore, only when he started writing his memoirs, he could reflect on his feelings related to carrying the famous name. After pointing out that she was “just in hiding” for five years before she started writing her book, Crystal said, “So I wasn’t around people to talk about it or really dive into it.”
However, since the release of the memoir, “it’s something” he’s been “thinking about internally”. He continued, “I don’t want to be Hefner. I’m done with that. I’ve closed the book now that I’ve written it and I think my name needs to go back to where it came from.”
