Model Paulina Porizkova is a Swedish model and actress, although she was born in Czechia. Paulina was the first Central European woman to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 1984 when she was just 18 years old.
Four years later, in 1988, she earned the highest-paid modeling contract at the time when she took home $6,000,000 for a contract with Estée Lauder.

In her latest Instagram post, the 57-year-old model shared a photo from her “younger” days. She tilted her head to the side in the same position as she shared the side-by-side snap. His dark hair had faded to gray and he made no attempt to hide the fine lines on his face. He revealed that his eyes were a different color because he had experimented with green contacts when he was younger.
Paulina began her thoughts by sharing a comment she received from a fan from an old thread: “Can I ask you something? What was it like when you were young to be so beautiful?
What’s it like when you walk into a room and people stare at you? Do you feel special? Do you miss all the attention?”

Paulina freely admits, “I miss the attention. Aging, in our society, when your whole life is about how you look – is not easy to accept. Especially when you have a choice.”

“As a model, you are supposed to represent a physically perfect woman,” she wrote. “And of course you can’t measure. Because – chopped into little judgmental pieces, there’s always someone with a better leg. From nose. Or lips. Or hair. And so on. So, how does it feel when I’m ‘judged’ to be in the prime of my physical beauty?”
“It’s probably when I feel the worst about myself,” she added. “Walk into a room and wipe everyone’s breath? More like, walking into a room knowing someone is whispering that you’re not that hot up close or in real life, that Elle has a better body, that Christie has better teeth, that Cindy has a sexier mouth… “

“And now, when I finally appreciate what has been given to me, in society’s opinion I have lost my beauty,” he continued. “I’m trying my best to resist the thorn because I’m past my prime, because God willing, I feel like I’m in my prime now! The combination of my learning, maturity and my wrinkle production, combined with my appearance, I believe is the best balance I have ever had. So, sorry to all those who can’t see it and feel that staying young is necessary for beauty.”
