Beverly Hills 90210 star Ian Ziering has finally spoken out after a violent altercation with a biker gang on New Year’s Eve. The actor revealed that the incident left him very “worried” but he was “grateful” to come out of it “unscathed.”
In the video clip of the incident, Ziering’s vehicle appears to be surrounded by several cyclists. After fighting with one of them, the other descends on the actor, causing a crowd fight.

Ziering probably didn’t plan to end his 2023 by getting into a fight with a biker gang. However, that’s exactly what happened when the “Sharknado” star got into a brutal fight with a group of mini bikers on Hollywood Boulevard.
Speaking about the incident, Ziering, who was with one of her daughters, revealed how shocked she was by the violent attack.
He said, “Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals riding a mini bike. While stuck in traffic, my car was aggressively approached by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage, I got out of my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I steered away from to protect myself.”
According to the video of the incident obtained by TMZ, Ziering’s car was seen surrounded by a group of cyclists. After exiting his vehicle, the actor engaged in a heated exchange with one of the motorcyclists, which quickly turned into a physical fight.
Ian Ziering Says He and Daughter ‘Unhurt’
In Ziering’s statement, he said that he and his daughter, Mia, were safe and “unhurt” but stressed how concerned he was by the “increasing audacity” of the group causing the public disturbance. In one of the videos shared by TMZthe actor can be seen comforting his daughter, who looks distraught after witnessing what happened.
“I am relieved to report that neither my daughter nor I were injured, but the incident has made me very concerned about the growing audacity of such a group that disturbs public safety and peace,” Ziering said. “This situation highlights the larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for an effective law enforcement response to such behavior.”
He continued, “As a citizen and parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from the authorities seems inadequate.”
Ziering added that he has always “been an advocate against intimidation and misbehavior” and that the fight with a biker gang reinforced his “belief in the importance of personal and community safety.”
Actors Want Law Enforcement To Step Up To The Plate

Ziering continued her lengthy post, calling for law enforcement officials to take a proper stand against lawlessness and violence to ensure that no one goes through what she and her daughter went through.
“We must tackle the underlying issues that lead to disruptive behavior and keep our roads safe for everyone. I urge city officials and law enforcement to take firm action against such violations and provide the necessary resources to prevent future incidents,” Ziering said on his Instagram page.
He continued, “I am grateful for the support of my family, friends, and fans over the years. In challenging moments like these the strength and unity of our community is most important. Happy New Year.”
follow KTLA (per People’s Magazine), the LA Police Department confirmed that on Sunday around 3pm local time, officers were called to the scene at Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave. because of “reports of a fight that broke out after the group of motorcyclists drove recklessly.”
The alleged fight is under police investigation.
