Despite being in hot water for writing a character letter for rapper Tory Lanez, claiming that she had never seen him act violently before, Azalea has announced dates for her upcoming project. Taking to social media, the “Fancy” hitmaker informed fans who have been hounding her for a release date to expect her single to drop later this month.

After spending the last six months building a presence on OnlyFans, Azalea is ready to return to music with a brand new song. The “Black Widow” singer initially teased the new music video last month, tweeting at the time:

The multi-awarded entertainer was forced to give a specific date when the single would drop when a fan jokingly told him, “don’t you log back into Chile, submit the release date!” When he responded with ‘escape’, the netizen uploaded an image of SpongeBob being handcuffed and screaming as the authorities pushed him away.

Above the photo, the fan — whose X handle reads jaygoodie_ — screams, “AHT AHT STOP THERE!!!” That last post turned out to be enough for Azalea to grant Jay’s request, because he was exclamation, “August 25th! Now take my hands off! Come on.”

“I think we should have a Megan Thee Stallion streaming party today,” the second hater suggested. Seeing tweets like that shouldn’t be new for Azalea, especially since coming under fire for a character letter she wrote for Lanez amid his legal troubles after he shot Megan in the leg in July 2020.
Speaking in support of the disgraced Canadian star, the “Kream” rapper claimed to have “never seen him loose.” [SP] his anger or raise his voice to a woman,” and called for a penalty that “changes, not destroys lives.” He also declared that he “will not write on behalf of abusers” because he is familiar with their ways, as a survivor himself.

Showing his pride in the work they’ve done together, Stewart gushed in the comments, “The pictures are coming! You’re doing the work and not focusing on anything but the music.”
