The wife of “Indiana Jones” actor Christian Oliver, Jessica Klepser, bravely opened up about the tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of her husband and two daughters on Thursday.
In a statement shared on his boss’s Instagram page, he not only gave details about the accident but also praised the kindness of his late son.
Klepser also stated that the loss of her husband was deeply felt by those who knew her. She asks for privacy as she grieves with the rest of her family at this challenging time.

Klepser spoke for the first time since the heartbreaking loss of his family in a fatal plane crash in the Caribbean on Thursday.
Oliver is 51 years old, and their two children, Madita (12) and Annik (10), were on the plane returning from vacation when it experienced engine trouble. Tragically, the plane crashed into the ocean, resulting in the loss of all three family members and the pilot.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash on January 4, 2024, which took the lives of our beloved family members,” said Klepser and his surviving family via the Wundabar Pilates Instagram page.
The statement also shared details about the lives of the late Klepser children, praising their many virtues.
“Madita, a spirited 7th grader at Louis Armstrong Middle School, is known for her lively spirit and excels in academics, dance, singing and performance. Annik, a 4th grader at Wonderland Ave Elementary School, was recognized for her gentle yet strong demeanor. He was always the first to say a kind word or a comforting hug. His passions include basketball, swimming, and various art forms,” the statement added.

“I was lucky to have Madita and Annik in our lives for so many years, and cherish the memories of pool parties, sleepovers, school performances, and Disneyland trips to keep in my heart,” Amy wrote.
He added, “My focus at the moment is to support Jessica and my daughter, who is Annik’s best friend.”

Meanwhile, there are still no details about the funeral of Olivier and the children.
After the crash, their bodies were “recovered from the plane/sea by Coast Guard personnel and later pronounced dead by medical practitioners,” according to a statement from local police.
It also read, “The body was transported to St. Vincent aboard a Coast Guard vessel and taken to the Kingstown Mortuary, where an autopsy is expected to be conducted to determine the cause of death.”
Olivier is survived by his wife, parents, and a younger sister in Germany. Meanwhile, the children left behind their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in Germany.
