The musician’s fashion icon was praised for his eye-catching collection that hit the runway in Paris late last week. Not only was it a star-studded event with big names like Jay-Z and Beyonce, they didn’t go out for nothing!
Zendaya is at the forefront. A$AP Rocky and Rihanna made appearances, and even Lenny Kravitz was in attendance. The room was buzzing and given the monumental moment for Williams, she also debuted a new song.
The crowd went wild when the sure shot was about to be played. Music lovers like Beyonce get stuck into upbeat pop songs. The song is titled “JOY” and features the Voices of Fire choir.

In the middle of all her “JOY”, Williams is now being challenged by Kellie Ford an indie designer going viral in 2021. She’s turning a Louis Vuitton shopping bag into a purse! The look was so popular that it had over 10 million views.
Ford hopped on TikTok to discuss Williams’ plans and acknowledge his own designs on the Paris runway. She spoke candidly with her followers mentioning that even celebrities “hit me up” for complimenting her designs.

So, he says it’s famous enough for this to happen. He also noted that Dapper Dan called him and praised him! “Fast forward to 2023, and under Pharrell’s creative direction for Louis Vuitton, they released the bag. Yes, crazy.”

He showed his design and Williams’ design to prove his point. He admits that he feels hopeless here, “what can we do” he says about other designers that have happened to him.
Pharrell Williams Hasn’t Answered, Yet

The musician/designer is busy basking in the glory of this big event in his life and no official statement has been issued regarding the designer’s alleged violation. Plus, Williams’ show has more than a wallet.
It features what he has labeled “menswear” but says he designs “clothing for humans”. He demonstrated this by having the likes of Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Zendaya wear his designs. While some have mocked Kardashian for looking like a Minecraft character, that’s what she looks like and there’s no question it’s going to fly off the shelves.
Not Everyone Agrees

The indie designer got some pushback on his claims. Not everyone agrees that he is doing something deep and even mentions that his version of the wallet is completely different. “This is what comes first “the chicken or the egg” because their shopping bag she made became another bag so they made it a bag too ?,” claimed one follower.
