Inside Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann’s Christmas Celebration With Their Kids

The drama surrounding Kim Zolciak and her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, continues amid the holiday season.

The two, who live together despite marital problems, do not celebrate Christmas as a united family. According to Biermann’s lawyer, the doting mother spent money on the ex-couple’s children instead of spending quality time with them.

Biermann’s attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom, has a problem to choose from with her client’s estranged wife regarding their separate holiday celebrations. He blasted Zolciak for splurging on gifts for children while praising fathers for choosing to bless children with “the gift of time.”

“Kim offers material things to the children. Kroy chose to create Christmas memories,” Bergstrom revealed in a statement, implying that “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star did not spend quality time with her children. In her words:

“The kids and Kroy spent the whole day together; they go to church, and then Kroy prepares a wonderful Christmas dinner that they all share as a family.”

Biermann’s legal representative said the touching family moments did not include Zolciak, whom he continued to shade in his statement to Page Six. Bergstrom could not understand why the mother of six was more important than sharing harmonious moments with her loved ones.

The lawyer insisted that everyone enjoyed Christmas as a united team, “All but Kim, who, after the children opened their presents, spent the entire day in her living room in the basement of the couple’s home.”

Biermann’s lawyer’s beef with Zolciak over gifts may have something to do with the former couple’s financial problems. Multiple sources claim the two are selling more of their stuff to buy gifts for their kids — Kroy Jr., Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane.

While the estranged couple share four children, Zolciak has two daughters, Brielle and Ariana, from previous relationships. This Christmas marks the former couple’s first holiday season since Biermann re-filed for divorce months earlier, and the drama comes weeks after their latest domestic dispute.

Son of Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann Forced to Call Authorities During Heated Fight

Since their dissolved union made waves, the former couple have been involved in numerous domestic incidents, with authorities rushing to their upmarket Georgian home. However, in November, police visited the couple’s home after receiving a 911 call from one of their children.

The incident happened at night following a heated fight between the parents, the cause of which is still unknown. Reports state that the dispute started as an argument that escalated into a full-blown confrontation and left their son crying for help.

Three officers and a supervisor responded to the child’s call and defused the situation, which was reported as “very intense.” As noted, this incident marks one in many domestic disputes, as Zolciak previously called the police on Biermann for locking him out of their bedroom.

In another incident, the former Bravo star told authorities she did not feel safe at home. She may not have to worry about staying with her estranged husband in their Georgia mansion for long, with the property on the market for $5,500,000.

Evicted Couple Cut Price on Their Listed Georgia Home

A few days earlier, the asking price of the former couple’s home in Georgia changed to $5,500,000 after they listed the luxury property for $6 million two months ago. Their financial problems seem to have caused them to drop the original asking price by $500,000.

However, the effectiveness of these changes remains to be seen, given the current slowdown in the housing market and relatively high interest rates. Both Georgian homes are two-story, seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom Milton homes.

In her divorce documents, Biermann stated that the former couple needed to sell the house immediately, citing dire financial conditions for her and Zolciak. Excerpts from the filing state:

“The only asset they currently have with equity is the matrimonial home. The mortgage is held in the petitioner’s name. However, it is set to be seized in November.”

The document continued: “Current living conditions are unsustainable and detrimental to the mental and emotional health of minors. If the marital home is sold, it will provide both parties with enough income to secure their home, thereby bringing the children out of a toxic environment.”
