The crème de la crème of Hollywood is here to celebrate Robert De Niro’s latest birthday milestone!
Family and close friends of the “Casino” actor came down to New York to enjoy a special dinner in conjunction with his 80th birthday. De Niro’s girlfriend of many years, Tiffany Chen, was also excited to support her man on his big day, as they all had a grand time wining and dining at the posh Italian hotspot.

Also spotted at the shindig was former model Uma Thurman, who brought her father Robert Thurman along as an extra for the fun night.
While Uma showed off her fashion game in a green coat and cutoff jeans, her dad sported a classic black suit, colorful floral shirt and burnt orange sunscreen. De Niro’s birthday celebration also welcomes film director Francis Ford Coppola, who is the epitome of timeless sophistication.
The 84-year-old stunned in a cream suit, striped blue shirt and matching tie. Meanwhile, “Star Wars” director George Lucas went more casual with an untucked short-sleeved shirt.
Famous music mogul Tommy Mottola, credited with finding singer Mariah Carey and becoming her first husband, looked very young as he joined the gathering at Locanda Verde. A month before she and her man hosted the event, Chen gave an interview in which she opened up about their love story. According to The Blast, the vice chairman of China Star Entertainment Group revealed that their relationship was completely professional when they first met on the set of the comedy drama, “The Intern,” in 2015.
However, their bond naturally changes over the years, until it develops into a romantic relationship. As the film’s producer told Gayle King on CBS Mornings:
“When we work, it’s just work. And then a few years later, we reconnected, and I said, ‘Oh, I think we’re compatible, and I think we’re really compatible.'”
In addition to sharing her views on her romance with De Niro, Chen also discussed her experience of being diagnosed with Bell’s palsy after welcoming Gia last April. Apparently, she started experiencing strange sensations in her tongue, such as tingling and numbness, after leaving the hospital with her baby girl. Describing the feeling, it was said:
“My face felt weird. It was like everything started to fall off on its own. Like, my face melted on its own. Then a week after giving birth, that’s when it all hit.”
He then began “slurring” his speech and “couldn’t eat,” at which point he became concerned and returned to the hospital. Unfortunately, when he arrived at the facility, he lost control of all facial functions resulting in a medical evaluation and diagnosis of Bell’s palsy.
Bell’s palsy is a condition characterized by sudden muscle weakness on one side of the face. Fortunately, this weakness is usually temporary and shows significant improvement over several weeks.
