Really Dum Dum.
An angry Florida man found himself in a difficult legal situation when he allegedly threw a lollipop at a Family Dollar manager during a heated argument Wednesday, authorities wrote in an affidavit obtained by the Smoking Gun.
Dalton Reed, 24, was arrested and charged with simple battery, a misdemeanor, following the confrontation in Clearwater, according to jail records.
As he waited in line to be checked out at the chain store, Reed got into a verbal argument with the manager that boiled over when he threw a lollipop at him, the documents allege.
The piece of candy hit the manager in the chest, with the incident “caught on camera and witnessed by the employee,” the affidavit said.
