Ireland Baldwin Breaks Silence On Her Pregnancy Struggles

Model Ireland Baldwin took to Instagram on Wednesday evening to write a lengthy post that she started with a trigger warning.

“Vulnerability trigger warning. I am not writing this post for sympathy. I’m only posting this because I’ve personally found a lot of comfort in an unfamiliar corner of social media at this time in my life,” he said.

“Social media is so toxic and confusing but I’ve found community at times where I feel like no one understands,” she continued. “I’m sharing my deepest feelings in hopes that someone will read this and feel less alone.”

“I came across various posts and videos where people were honest about how difficult this journey was and it helped me a lot,” the 27-year-old wrote. “Pregnancy is difficult. It requires so much from you. I’m not ready for that.”

“I always wanted a baby with the right person. I grew up with a very jaded perception of what true love looks like and I always wanted to have my own children with someone who would treat us right and love us unconditionally,” she wrote, possibly referring to the public divorce between her parents. Losing a loved one. getting sicker All that is very difficult,” he continued. “But I underestimated how hard pregnancy was on my mind and body. As someone who deals with extreme health concerns every day, pregnancy turned things up a notch.”

“I have struggled to adapt to this change. Body sensation. Painful and painful. Organs will defecate randomly,” he admitted. “I know everyone has a completely different experience and mine was easy compared to most, but f*ck it was a struggle. It’s hard to have so much pressure on yourself.”

“Forget the physical aspect…I feel like my brain and mind are at war every day. Mental warfare. ‘Just wait till the baby gets here, you’re not going to sleep’, I’m not sleeping now,” he said. “SHUT UP. I am tired. I’m not motivated. I feel like life is going by and my career hasn’t even started yet.”

“It’s hard to come here and see couples dressing up for events, getting drinks, working on set, going to school. It’s hard to be alone. I have my boyfriend who without him, I think I would lose my mind,” she continued, referring to her boyfriend, RAC, who she has been with for over a year. “He’s everything and more to me but man, it’s hard to move somewhere without family.”

The two have opened a shop together on the beach in Gearhart, Oregon, called Good Times, not far from where Alec lives with his wife Hilaria and seven children in New York.

“It’s hard not to be very close to family because they live far away or are idiots that I don’t want anything to do with,” she continued. “It’s hard to see other people go through it and have their parents close by.”

“It’s harder to see some of your friends disappear or not know how to connect with you anymore,” he wrote. “Especially when you’re nothing to them but a drinking buddy and a good time.”

“It’s hard to make new friends at the age of 27. It’s hard to keep the old ones close when they’re so far away. It’s hard when your closest friends have their own problems and you don’t know when is the right time to express them emotionally,” he added.

Ireland Admits Vomiting Six Times A Day

“It is very difficult. When people expect you to be glowing and angelic and in a constant state of happiness.. sometimes it’s just not realistic. I’m a goblin. Bridge troll. A curmudgeon,” he continued. “Seri is my skin care routine. He can’t vomit 6x a day.”

“And even through all of this, none of this describes how excited I am to be her mom. My career isn’t going anywhere, and if it is, so be it. The most important friends will be there and you will have more room for new friendships,” he concluded his speech on a positive note. “All of this is still worth it but it’s okay to admit how hard and scary it is. You are not alone.”

In the caption, Ireland wrote, “This pain is HARD. And you’re not alone if you feel the same way. And it’s okay to be REAL and post a highlight reel. It’s okay to be happy and sad at the same time. I’m grateful but I’m struggling and that’s okay.”
