Irish model Baldwin just gave her followers the shock of a lifetime when she tricked them into thinking she had given birth.
The 27-year-old daughter of actor Alec Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger first announced that she will give birth to her first child with RAC, whose real name is André Allen Anjos, on New Year’s Eve 2022.
Although she had decided to immortalize her pregnancy due to unsolicited Internet advice, she tricked her followers into thinking she had a baby with a video she shared over the weekend.

On Sunday night, the aspiring screenwriter took to Instagram to share a fourteen-second clip of her boyfriend, RAC, carrying a baby carrier on the sidewalk while a cover of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” played in the background. As the camera rolled, fans could actually see an Irish dachshund puppy sitting on the seat instead of a baby.
“Stop my heart racing,” commented one fan. “I just got scammed by a wiener dog,” wrote another follower. “Oh my gosh, this got me!!!! I thought you had your child!” a third fan chimed in. “I feel like there’s something off about the ‘Twilight’ song but then again it IS,” another follower shared, prompting Ireland to reply, “You know me.”

The first-time mom seemed eager to share the news that she was going to be a mom, telling listeners that she was expecting a daughter that she planned to name Holland in a January 2023 interview with “GirlBoss Radio.”
However, she informed her followers that she plans to take the rest of her pregnancy private and stopped sharing updates after a possibly well-intentioned tip ruined her trip to the show last month.

Ireland took to her Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of a comment left by a woman who claimed she worked “in labor and delivery at the University of Washington.” The woman claimed, “I think you might be a little swollen due to preeclampsia. I can see your face and hang a little puffy too. I just want to make sure you’re okay.”
“If you experience headaches, blurred vision or floaters, or suddenly experience increased swelling in your hands [and] legs and face, contact your doctor.”
The message spilled over into a second comment, which read, “No judgment or anything. I just want to make sure [you’re] good If everything is good, I am happy.”

Ireland later delivered the message on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Woman, mother, [and] These ‘nurses’ are the ones who ruin your pregnancy sharing on social media or at all. I hate people who go out of their way [instill] fear of others. I hate unlicensed and unqualified people who diagnose people with nonsense over the Internet.”
“I don’t care if you think this is someone trying to help… no. My hands are not swollen. My body is… pregnant,” he continued. “My cheeks and face have been swollen all my life. My blood pressure is normal. My blood work is normal. I’m good. But this brings up something I want to point out…”

He later said that he rushed home to check his blood pressure “in a panic” because he was worried something was wrong. However, her blood pressure was normal, which only led to more frustration and her decision to keep her pregnancy private.
“Not that I feel responsible for/like I’m very important and these are some big announcements, but I’ve decided to keep the rest of my pregnancy as private as possible and my daughter’s life and all that. ,” he continued. “I share good news here and there because I like to connect with people, feel less alone at times, etc… but social media makes me miserable.”
