Rupert Murdoch is reportedly preparing to propose to his girlfriend, Ann-Lesley Smith.
The media mogul has been married four times in the past and is set to make Smith his fifth wife as he allegedly moves her into a new and bigger apartment.
Murdoch was previously married to model Jerry Hall from 2016 until their divorce was finalized in July last year. According to reports, Hall has problems with the billionaire’s four eldest children.

The media baron first sparked dating rumors with Smith when they were spotted soaking up the sun in Barbados last January. According to Daily Mailthey were hosted by British billionaire Anthony Bamford, chairman of JCB, on a Caribbean holiday.
Smith, 66, was seen rocking a yellow halterneck bikini and accessorizing with a large cross pendant necklace. She is the widow of US country musician and business entrepreneur Chester Smith, with whom she recorded the album “Captured By Love.”
The news outlet claimed that Smith and Murdoch first linked up in November before making their first appearance as a couple at a Christmas dinner at her home.

He was first married in 1956 to Patricia Booker, a former flight attendant with whom he shared his first child, Prudence. They divorced in 1967.
The media mogul later married Anna Torv, a Scottish-born cadet journalist working for his Sydney newspaper, in 1967. The couple separated in 1998.
Murdoch married his third wife, Wendi Deng, in June 1999. He shares two daughters with her, Grace and Chloe. She reportedly filed for divorce from him in 2013.
In 2016, she got engaged to former model Jerry Hall, but they eventually separated in 2022 after she filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” per Explosion.
Murdoch reportedly ended their relationship via email, telling her to contact him through her lawyer.

The rift in the marriage reportedly began during the pandemic, after it was reported that Hall took on the role of “gatekeeper” in Murdoch’s life.
“Her family thought that Jerry had taken them away from her,” a source revealed, per Radar. “He blames the children for making the marriage cloudy. They have a lot to say about him and his role in his personal life.”
“Jerry is absolutely devastated by what has happened and insists that it was all for nothing,” the source added, claiming, “He’s been hurt by the suggestion that he’s only in it for the money.”
Hall reportedly has a close relationship with Murdoch’s four eldest children.
