Is Drake To Blame For Podcaster Bobbi Althoff’s Divorce After 3 Years?

Fans of Bobbi Althoff have pointed the finger at Drake as the reason her husband recently filed for divorce. But does Drake really have anything to do with it?

Many noticed that the coincidental time frame her estranged husband, Cory Althoff, mentioned that the two had split was around the same time Bobbi released her viral interview with Drake. The same interview that suddenly disappeared from the internet without a trace, fueled the thought.

Did Drake Have Something To Do With Bobbi Althoff’s Divorce?

Shortly after Bobbi’s interview with Drake was shared on social media, it just disappeared. Neither Bobbi nor Drake have spoken about why the video was taken down, leading many to speculate that something was going on between the two.

According to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, Drake wasn’t a big fan of Bobbi, 26, towards the end of last summer. They said the two continued to text after the interview and Drake invited her to his concert in Los Angeles in August, where she was given general admission only, much to her chagrin. Bobbi felt she deserved to be in the VIP section and made it known in a video she shared on TikTok about her pout at the concert. The video has since been deleted from his social media pages.

Then the viral interview also disappeared, much to the surprise and confusion of many. No explanation has ever been given by Bobbi or Drake and fans can only wonder if it was all a publicity stunt or a real fight that happened. Sources also say that it was Drake’s camp that demanded Bobbi cancel the viral interview and their friendship ended.

The source also shared what led to Bobbi’s husband finally filing for divorce and it had nothing to do with Drake or the cheating allegations. It seems Bobbi’s rapid rise to fame may have had something, or everything, to do with the couple’s split.

Bobbi took to Instagram and TikTok on Wednesday to break her silence on her divorce, sharing photos of the couple.

“As many of you have heard, Cory and I have filed for divorce. Even though I’m sad now, I’m so grateful that I got to be his wife. Our girls are so blessed to have him as a father & I am so blessed to be co-parenting with such an amazing father & person,” she captioned.

“Even if our relationship doesn’t work out as husband and wife, we will always be friends and I will always love him.”

Bobbi turns off comments on her Instagram posts, but her TikTok posts receive plenty.

“What is Drake doing,” one asked. Another added, “Celebrity status always ruins the best things in life??.”

Another fan shared, “Unfortunately, it seems like a common thing with influences. My best guess is that the couple doesn’t want that life and the influence does.”

Bobbi’s rise to fame was swift, leading some to wonder if she was an “industrial factory”.

For anyone unsure of what that means, Urban Dictionary defines “industrial factory” as, “An artist who has a Major/Indie Label support their movement but presents themselves as a ‘local startup’ label to create a pseudo organic following. They act as if something magically happens for them based on their talent (through blog coverage, media coverage, MTV playing their videos, etc.) The reality is that it’s a low-risk/high-reward situation for labels looking to build the ‘next new star .’”

Keke Palmer was spotted outside the Today Show this morning in New York CityMEGA

When Keke Palmer recently sat down with Bobbi, the topic of “industrial factories” entered the conversation. The actress asked Bobbi if she was single and Bobbi responded by saying, “I am,” in her famous interview tone. After the feedback, Palmer shared that her rise to fame did feel a bit “planted”. Palmer also said, “You got here in five minutes. It took me 20 years.”

Bobbi launched “The Really Good Podcast” in early 2023 and quickly grew her fan base after landing an interview with Drake out of nowhere. After Drake’s viral interview, Bobbi interviewed many other big names and continues to do so.
