Not necessarily but she was spotted entering a recording studio with her baby daddy after announcing an exciting collaboration with the NFL. The NYC studio session took place late Monday night.
While the mogul has yet to talk about the exciting performance, she did post a photo of her hand holding a soccer ball in front of a white background. Fans knew right away that RiRi would be involved with the halftime show but they never expected that she would perform.

Even if it’s just a new song and we have to sit through Rocky to get it, then that’s as it should be. She’s got a lot going on with her beauty and clothing line but the new mom wouldn’t have signed up to perform at the awesome Super Bowl if she didn’t have a special line.

In 2019, the singer was asked to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show but he quickly declined due to the league’s stance against Colin Kaepernick. At the time, Kaepernick stood against the league’s continued opposition to playing the national anthem.
He repeatedly took a knee instead of standing with his hands on his chest like all the rest of his teammates. The look caused an uproar among fans and some other players in the league who believed it was disrespectful and that he took things too far.
Rihanna chose to stand by a friend of color since Kaepernick could use all the support he can get. The Bahamian-born entertainer missed his chance but this time there was nothing stopping him.
Rihanna Wasn’t the First Person They Asked

TMZ reported that Taylor Swift was asked to perform “a month ago” but she declined because she was in the process of re-recording all of her old albums. The “Kisah Cinta” singer reportedly wants all 6 of her old albums to be re-recorded before she makes the big career move.
Taylor is only 2 of 6 so far so a Super Bowl won’t be in his future for a while yet.
Rihanna, on the other hand, is ready to go and doesn’t have any music controversies looming in her past. Plus, this might just be the push he needs to finally start making the music he promised us all those years ago.
