Israeli tech billionaire whose daughter was murdered by Hamas believes in ‘peace’ — only after terrorists are ‘eliminated’

An Israeli tech billionaire whose daughter was killed by Hamas on October 7 said he still believes there will be “peace” in the region – but only after all the terrorists are “eliminated.”

Eyal Waldman, who is also an Israeli army veteran, told the BBC he remained optimistic even after his “wonderful” 24-year-old daughter Danielle was killed “for no reason” along with her fiancé and hundreds of others at the Supernova music festival.

“I hope in two to four years we will be able to [have] peace and build two states for two people and be able to live together next to each other,” the grieving father of Israel and Gaza.

“But before that, anyone responsible — anyone associated — with what happened on October 7, ’23 will be removed.

“And we’ll take care of it,” Waldman vowed.

“We know exactly who came, who raped, who slaughtered. We have videos, we have their cell phone numbers. We know who they are.

“We can eliminate them. And I think we can eliminate Hamas,” he said confidently.

Only then can they focus on doing “everything we can to make this place the best place to live,” said Waldman, who maintains he has no regrets in creating the design center and donating nearly $300,000 to a hospital in Gaza.

“We need to change leadership on both sides,” he said. “And we need to stop killing each other and find a way to live together.”

Danielle Waldman and her boyfriend of six years, Noam Shai, were killed by terrorists as they and three friends tried to evict the bloody music festival.

A brief video shows Shai driving away in a Jeep as his girlfriend sits in the back next to a man who says Waldmanher is in the back seat of the Jeep with a friend who tries to reassure them: “We’re going to be fine. Everything is okay, right?”

His father – who founded chipmaker Mellanox Technologies and sold the company to Nvidia for $6.8 billion in 2019 – had been in Indonesia at the time, but was given permission to land in Israel despite the closed airspace.

He then tracked down his daughter’s Apple Watch and phone, coming across several murders.

“We are close to an engagement with seven terrorists, creatures, call them what you will,” he told the BBC. “They have killed three or four soldiers.”

Festival goers ran for safety as Hamas descended on a dance party on Oct. 7.

Waldman ended up running into a bullet-riddled car in which his daughter and her friends were riding.

“There was a lot of blood in the car. I hope he’s not in the car, or he’s injured but able to escape, or taken hostage,” explained the grieving father.

Her daughter’s body was found two days later.

“Everything [Danielle] moved is with a smile. He never wronged anyone. He just likes to do good things. And they are [Hamas] just killed him for no reason,” Waldman said tearfully.

“She is an amazing girl. She likes to dance. He likes animals. He likes people. He has many, many friends. He likes to snowboard, scuba dive, ride motorcycles with Noam,” he added.

Just 10 days before Danielle was killed, she spoke to her father about her plans to marry her boyfriend.

“They will stay in this country, raise children. He wanted many children and many dogs and horses,” said the grieving father.

Instead, both sets of parents “decided to bury them together – instead of getting married.”
