Jack Antonoff Calls Kanye West A ‘Crybaby’ Over Clashing Album Release Dates

Singer and Taylor Swift collaborator Jack Antonoff is apparently unhappy with Kanye West as he finds himself in the middle of an album release date clash with the controversial rapper.

The famous producer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to react to the situation, calling West a “little baby”. Antonoff previously called out West in 2022 for his anti-Semitic comments, warning the rapper not to “be with us.”

The Bleachers singer spoke to X to address the coincidence and share his feelings about the Yeezy founder choosing to release his long-awaited album on the same day Bleachers will release his self-titled album.

West has delayed the release of his “Vultures” album several times since last year. Reports first surfaced suggesting he would release it “immediately” in August last year, but that has not seen the light of day.

Recently slated for a January 2024 release, the “Vultures” debut appears to have suffered another setback as West confirmed February 9 as the new release date, the same day for Bleachers’ latest project.

Not happy with the development, Antonoff had some strong words for him, saying, “Kanye on the release date on the bench is a funny little cry b—–.”

Someone told Antonoff not to “worry,” adding that they “will be streaming until Kanye can’t hear himself speak.”

“JACK, HAVE TAYLOR PRE RELEASE LWYMMD TV JUST TO GET HER, OR TIWWCHNT OR REP TV,” wrote another fan.

“Jack Antonoff is just like the Swifties; they want to be included in everything bad,” wrote another, slamming Antonoff and the Swift fandom.

A fourth said, “Kanye fell on Bleachers day? Guess it’s time to grab some popcorn and watch the memes unfold. Maybe we can do a double feature, Grammy style?”

Several others appeared to have no idea who Antonoff was, with one quipping, “Who is Anton, and why are people telling us to reject him?” while another added, “Nobody’s ever heard of this Jack guy.”

This isn’t Antonoff’s first time tracking down the West. He has taken a strong stand against the rapper’s past antisemitic comments, expressing his strong disapproval and calling on the West to stop talking about Jews.

During a 2022 tour stop in Columbia, Missouri, Antonoff, who is himself Jewish, took the stage to condemn the antics of the West.

“I’m Jewish, and we’re very proud of our basketball skills,” the musician said. “So don’t f— with us until we roll our ankles in our platform Document. And still don’t f— with us.”

Aiming to be more direct, he said, “Kanye, don’t f— with us.”

Antonoff continued, “Here’s the thing about b—-. So Bowie went through a phase of fascism, right? It’s bad, but his mother—– made some of the best records ever. Kanye is far from a good job. It’s just — what are we supposed to do besides just tell him to get out of here?”

“I’ll just do anything to wake up and not hear about Kanye, especially when it’s about f—–’ Jews, man,” he added.

Kanye West’s New Album Is Coming In Three Parts

Unpredictably, the rapper has announced that his “Vultures” album will be released in three volumes starting in February.

The release date for the first part of his collaboration with R&B singer Ty Dolla $ign has been set for February 9, with the second part coming on March 8 and the last on April 5.

The announcement follows the release of a video trailer for the project featuring clips of a burning house, a figure cloaked in black cloaks, a wolf, and more grueling images.

West previously came under fire in November last year after a song from the album was released, with lyrics that read, “How am I antisemitic? I’m just a b—— a Jew—-.” The rapper has since apologized to the Jewish community, stating he never intended to “hurt” anyone with his statement.
