The actress, who serves as a host, along with her daughter Willow Smith and her mother Adrienne, acts as a co-host on the American talk show, has entertained fans on a variety of topics, including the famous Oscar slap that set the internet on fire in 2022.

Remaining optimistic about the show’s comeback, he revealed, “We have several platforms reaching out to us. And we have some interesting avenues that we’re looking at right now. You know me, I’m always looking for the next innovative thing.”
He teased fans, “Actually, there’s an idea that we’ve been thinking about that I’m kind of excited about that might be, maybe, closer to the release of the book. We’ve got some really exciting things going on with RTT. I’m excited about that journey as well.” “
About her much-anticipated memoir, the actress added, “A lot of people feel because of my talk show Red Table Talk that they know my journey. And they really don’t. There is so much about my journey that I cannot share in a format like RTT.”
In his words, the book, due out on October 17, will cover “everything.” “I think people have made a lot of assumptions. And you know what? It should be so. I had to take ownership of that, in relation to the narrative that I was part of, the falseness about myself,” he added.
Ending on a strong note, she says, “In the book, I really describe all of that extensively as part of my recovery journey. I think a lot of people, not just women, but a lot of us lose ourselves in a narrative that doesn’t necessarily or completely frankly.
The show’s cancellation comes amid Facebook Watch streamlining its production to focus on “creating VR experiences in Meta Horizon Worlds” while ending all of its original plans on the platform.
The Blast shared that following the parent company’s decision, many of its staff, approximately 20,000, have been laid off, including Mina Lefevre, who heads Development and Programming at Meta and is EVP and Head of Scripts at MTV.

The closing of the original programming series was moved regardless of the various series Lefevre oversaw, including “Sorry For Your Loss” and the Elizabeth Olsen-led “Sacred Lies.” In addition, it was revealed that none of the remaining FB Watch Originals will be returning for the new season, especially “Red Table Talk.”
While the company is shifting to an entirely new focus, FB Watch remains the go-to video player for new VR content, with members of Lefevre’s team, including Thomas Stockwell, continuing to “work on original programming with an emphasis on VR-centric shows.” Interestingly, “Red Table Talk” with its spin-off, “Red Table Talk: The Estefans,” is the last remaining original FB Watch that has completed its original order.
Nick Cannon Expresses His Delight Over ‘Red Table Talk’ Show Cancellation
While fans of the actress expressed their sadness over the unfortunate development, actor Nick Cannon, on the other hand, seemed to love the news.
The father of twelve gave his very honest opinion after hearing the information during his radio show, “The Daily Cannon.” Describing the situation as “good” he noted that the Oscar drama that took place between Rock and Will would not have happened if Will had never joined his wife’s plan.

He said, “If there wasn’t Red Table Talk, then he wouldn’t have slapped Chris Rock.” Questioning the rapper, his baby mama Abby De La Rosa, asked if the actress’ talk show deserved to be canceled because of what happened at the 94th Academy Awards.
Giving his response, Cannon reiterated his distaste for the show, saying, “I’m talking about that toxic desk.” Still condemning the talk show, he added, “Too much honesty can slap you in the face! We have seen this.”
