Jameela Jamil has responded to claims that she failed during a recent appearance on “The View.”
The actor, who has been making the media rounds to promote his new podcast, had a few setbacks while on live television, using the F-word at one point. Although he quickly realized his mistake and apologized, some media outlets were less than impressed with his behavior, and they reported it in their publications.
Jameela Jamil Jokes About Slips During Her Conversation on ‘The View’
Ever since he became a famous Hollywood star, the media has watched Jamil, immediately attacking whenever he seems to make a mistake. Therefore, it is not surprising when Entertainment Weekly published an article about his appearance Wednesday on “The View,” calling it “weird.”
According to the write-up, the actress joined the women’s daytime talk show to promote the “Bad Dates podcast” and started the conversation with interesting tidbits about her dating history, quipping:
“I’m what you call a serial killer of erections. I’m going to have my own Netflix documentary series about all the erections I kill.

The “Freshly Squeezed” star later admitted that she has a three-month waiting period before kissing or having sex with someone, adding, “I just don’t want to see your balls until I’m ready.”
The comment prompted moderator Whoopi Goldberg to smirk at the audience as co-host Sara Haines put her head in her hands. Later, during a conversation about the exercise industry, Jamil said, “I see it as this exclusive club, this elitist place where you have to dress a certain way, and be like, f**k. Sorry, I apologize for my language.”
The “Radio 1 Request Show” host repeated his apology, explaining that it was a “bad word” as soon as the interview ended. In response to the article, the 37-year-old took to his Instagram Story with a screenshot of the title and a caption that read:
“Strange usage used to make me sound unhinged. But actually we had a F**king BLAST and they invited me back to co-host a while back. I love them, they’re so much fun.”
He made a second Story with another channel’s screenshot that brought the news that he made the show’s panel “lost with his raunchy fart jokes.” This time, he wrote, “Ahahahaha welp. A week so far. I have LIVE NEWS today,” across the image.
The “Animaniacs” voice artist did a more detailed performance of his television failure via a video posted on Story three. After explaining why the footage looked rough, the “Legendary” judge said:
“I have a deeper, sexier voice because I’ve been chatting on live television all over New York. Going viral for things I didn’t expect to go viral. I came to promote my podcast.”
Jamil then pointed out that the podcast, which has already gone live, features comedy celebrity guests such as Conan O’Brien, Nicky Glazer and Tick Nataro. The last time the actor called a celebrity channel for their headline, it was more dramatic than this.

The Blast shared that the recurring host of “Last Call with Carson Daly” confronted SFX Magazine after they gave an unexpected title to their interview with him. The publication had claimed that she was interested in “jumping ship” after the superhero miniseries, “She-Hulk,” premiered on Disney+ when what she said was different.
To prove his point, Jamil uploaded a screenshot of the headline and his words on Instagram, partially writing in the caption, “May these people stretch before they attempt the mental gymnastics required to create such nonsense.”
The British Beauty Trapped For Politician Amidst Retirement Controversy
The Blast reports that “America’s Dad!” The guest star slammed news sites for publishing unsavory headlines about former New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern following news of her resignation. She posted a screenshot of a BBC headline asking if women can “really have it all?” with the words:
“Yes, women can have it all. He had it all, did it all, destroyed it all, and now has even more because he has the agency to decide when he’s done on HIS time. She may not be prime minister anymore, but she has always been a queen.”
Jamil continued his words in the caption, writing, “RUDE TITLE. 5 years became a revolutionary, and left on his terms. That IS having it all.” The women’s rights activist stressed that the now-retired politician deserves more credit following the country’s extraordinary response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Jamil finished by declaring his love for the 42-year-old who left the corridors of power in January.
