James Corden is getting ready to take off from his late-night talk show, and it’s clear he’s off guard.
It was announced in April 2022 that the British actor, singer and comedian will be leaving his beloved talk show, “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” by the summer of 2023.

He recently appeared on “NBC10 Boston’s Today” and revealed that he is not the “real James Corden” on TV.
Instead, he “played the character” and “played the character” while appearing on ‘The Late Late Show.’
“I think I see it all as a show, really,” he admits. “I see it all as the character I’m playing.”

While Corden left his late-night talk show, he didn’t leave the TV screen.
His current project is titled, “Mammals,” an Amazon Prime Video series.
The British star explained the difference between hosting a talk show and a video series is the “time” required to film them.

“We [Late Late] show is an hour a day,” Corden explained.
While explaining what it took to shoot “Mammalia,” he said, “The whole series is two hours and forty minutes.”
In recent months, Corden has been at the center of restaurant etiquette controversies and stealing jokes.

Last year, he was called out for misbehaving with restaurant staff at Balthazar, with the restaurant owner calling him out publicly.
In October 2022, he was called out for stealing a Ricky Gervais joke and using it on ‘The Late Late Show.’
The whole bit sounds exactly like Ricky Gervais told it in 2018.
“If someone puts up a poster in a town square that says ‘guitar lessons available’, like you don’t want people to go: ‘I don’t want to play guitar! I want to play your piano s**t’! That sign is not for you,” Corden said. “It’s for someone else! You don’t have to be angry about all that.”

Here’s how 2018 Gervais put it, “It’s like going to a town square, seeing a big notice board and there’s a notice – guitar lessons – and you go, ‘But I don’t want to learn guitar. .’ Well, that’s not for you, just leave. Do not worry!”
Everything from Corden’s joke moves to his demeanor is almost identical to Gervais.
In fact, “The Office” star actually chimed in about the similarities between the sketches.

Quote Gervais tweeted ‘The Late Late Show’, which has since been deleted, and wrote, “the bit about the town square ad for guitar lessons was brilliant.”
A fan responded to the English comic asking, “But not delivering it like you do. I assume he asked to use that joke?
Gervais replied, “No. I think one of the writers ‘made it’ for him. I doubt he would consciously copy such a famous stand-up routine word for word.”

If you don’t know, every television talk show has a group of writers who help write jokes, sketches and segments for the show.
So, it’s highly likely that one of Corden’s writers or a group of writers is responsible for ripping off Gervais.
