Jamie Foxx and Corinne Foxx Approve Of Nick Cannon As ‘Beat Shazam’ Guest Host

Actor Jamie Foxx and his daughter, Corinne Foxx, will not appear as hosts for season 6 of “Beat Shazam.”

Currently, reports indicate that the “They Cloned Tyrone” actor is still hospitalized following his “medical complications” last month. With production on Fox’s reality show already underway, they had to unearth new talent to keep the show going.

While Corinne usually acts as the show’s DJ, that role will be taken over by TV personality Kelly Osbourne. The show’s host, which Foxx has played for five seasons, will now be taken over by “The Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon.

The news broke on Wednesday after Kelly Osbourne shared a video on her Instagram Stories from inside the DJ booth. Shortly after, the show’s social media pages released a brief statement about the new host.

“Beat Shazam has been an unscripted mainstay on the FOX schedule for six seasons and counting,” they wrote. Although the show has yet to be renewed for a seventh season, the statement makes it look promising.

“This season, not wanting game show fans to miss a minute of the fun, Nick Cannon has volunteered to fill in as guest host for his friends Jamie and Corinne Fox. Kelly Osbourne will fill in as guest DJ,” they added.

Current reports suggest that Foxx is still in the hospital, though it’s a good sign that he’s back on social media. Fans are hoping he’ll be released soon, but it looks like he’ll be recuperating at home for a while following these health concerns.

Although Foxx’s family has not disclosed the cause of this medical emergency, sources have clarified that the incident occurred in Georgia while he was filming his new movie “Back In Action.” However, the incident reportedly did not happen while he was on set.
