The actress recently revealed her perspective on allowing each child to have a unique experience and relationship with her. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLEshe shared her approach to parenting her children, explaining why she prefers to spend individual time with each of her children rather than bringing them all together.
Although he admits they sometimes get together “when necessary,” the 42-year-old believes he is the only taker. He said, “I feel like a qualitative experience is when I can give everyone their own experience,’ adding:
“I actually like stepping into their world. Go to their sports games or give them some personal time on vacation. So I have no problem bouncing.”

Cannon anticipates that as his kids get older and he slows down, they might all start coming to him somewhere. He stated, “I think it works better [right now]. Because everyone is busy, not just me, it works to be able to take the time to go to them and show value with them and not force anyone to come to me.”
When she planned to stop giving birth, the actress revealed that she left it up to God to make the decision. In an interview with ET, the “Wild ‘n Out” host shared her plans for the future while admitting that God will ultimately choose when she’s done having kids.
Cannon stated that he has his hands full and is focusing on his family now. However, he added a note of fondness, saying, “But when I’m 85, you never know. i might [decide to have more].”
He also shared his thoughts on the viral TikTok video featuring his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, and their daughter, Monroe, alongside Kim Kardashian and her daughter, North. He stated that while he was surprised by the collaboration, given his past relationship with Kardashian, he considered it “epic.”
He added that the fact that the song was one he worked on with Carey made it even more special. On how she felt about Monroe catching the “entertainment bug,” she stated, “You can see the connection between her and her mom. It’s beautiful that they can have fun with each other.”

Last month the TV personality addressed controversy over her use of the term “provider” when referring to her relationship with her baby mama. According to The Blast, Cannon explained that he does not give the mother of his children a “monthly allowance.”
He revealed that he does not follow a specific procedure for providing financial support to them, preferring to be flexible in his approach. He further explained, “I don’t give myself that guideline. What they need, they get,” adding, “There was never something that was asked for and not accepted by one of my children’s mothers.”
The “America’s Got Talent” host expressed her deep respect and admiration for her baby mamas, acknowledging their great sacrifices by carrying and giving birth to their offspring. He states that despite any disagreements or complications that may arise, he will never speak ill of or disrespect any of his women.
In an interview with Thembi Mawema of “The Shade Room,” Cannon admitted that he wished he had a child with Christina Milian and was devastated after finding out in 2019 that he was expecting a child that wasn’t his.
After starring in the movie “Love Don’t Cost A Thing,” the couple had a romantic relationship that lasted two years. The actor revealed that they had discussed having a child together as a couple, but it didn’t happen for them.
