Actor Jamie Foxx gave fans an update on his health while thanking his daughter, Corrinne Foxx, and sister, Deondra Dixon, for keeping his health issues a secret.
On April 12, his 29-year-old daughter explained that the “Ray” star had suffered a medical emergency and was “on the road to recovery.” Conflicting rumors about his health only add to fans’ worries. Fortunately, on July 21, the actor took to his own Instagram to set the record straight with a video, confirming that he was not blind or paralyzed as a result of his medical tests.
In a three-minute video posted on his Instagram page on Friday, the “They Cloned Tyrone” actor opened up about his health issues and thanked fans without explaining the nature of his condition.

“First of all, I want to thank everyone who prayed, friends, and sent me messages,” he began. “I can’t begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back.”
She said, “I’ve been through something I thought I’d never go through,” adding, “I know a lot of people are waiting or wanting to hear an update but to be honest with you, I just don’t want you to see me like that, friend.”
“I want you to see me laughing, having fun partying, making jokes, doing movies, television shows. I don’t want you to see me running out of tubes and trying to figure out if I’m going to make it,” he added.
He thanked his sister and daughter for supporting him throughout his recovery, saying they “saved my life,” along with many medical staff. “To them, to God, to many great medical people, I can leave you this video,” he said.

“I can’t tell you how much fun it is when your family is involved in that way, and you all know they’re keeping the air tight, they’re not letting anything go, they’re protecting me, and that’s what I hope everyone can do. experiencing moments like this,” he continued.
He also shut down rumors that he was “blind” or “crippled” during his medical complications. “As you can see, the eyes work, the eyes work well,” he said. “I’m not paralyzed, but … I’ve been to hell and back, and my road to recovery has had some potholes. But I will come back and I can work.”
The “Beat Shazam” host began wrapping up his message, saying, “I love everybody and I love all the love that I get,” adding, “If you see me out now and every once in a while I just burst out crying, it’s just because it’s hard, man. I’m sick, man. But now I’ve got my legs under me, so you’ll see me out.”
