Foxx is ramping up his festive celebrations this year with a Christmas display at his sprawling Agoura Hills mansion. For the holiday season, the “Django Unchained” cast has transformed their property into a winter wonderland, featuring a prominent “JOY” sign on display in the front yard.

Almost every inch of Foxx’s home is illuminated, the driveway is decorated with lights, and the fountain houses Santa and a snowman. The huge Christmas trees are also perfectly decorated.

Foxx’s festive Christmas decorations come after he made a surprise appearance at the Critics’ Choice Movie and Television Society Celebration earlier this week, marking his first official public outing since his unexpected hospitalization in April.

Jurnee Smollett, her co-star in the thriller/drama, presented the award, praising Foxx as “a true trailblazer, a trailblazer who has broken barriers and inspired a generation of artists like me to be bold and daring dreamers.”

Smollett noted his time acting with Foxx: “Even though we were playing rivals fighting in the courtroom, in him I found a great cheerleader – someone who, on the first day we shot you all, he came, and right. after the third take, he came up to me, he was like, ‘Man, you killed this role.’ Now, I don’t think he understands what that kind of support means to someone like me who has watched him all my life.”

The event marked Foxx’s return to the Hollywood scene after medical complications in April temporarily halted production on his upcoming Netflix film “Back in Action.”

After months of Foxx being under the radar, the Oscar winner finally shared an update on his health, expressing gratitude for the outpouring of love. He assured fans that he was “feeling blessed” during his recovery.

In an emotional video message released in May, he referred to the severity of his condition, thanking everyone for their prayers. In a lengthy Instagram clip, he said, “First of all, I want to thank everyone who prayed, friends, and sent me messages. I can’t begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back. I went through something I thought I would never go through.”

He continued, “I know a lot of people are waiting, wanting to hear an update. But, to be honest with you, I just don’t want you to see me like that, man. You know, I want you to see me laughing and having fun, partying, joking, doing a movie or a television show. I don’t want you to see me running out of tubes and trying to figure out if I’m going to make it through.”

Foxx credited his family for saving his life, adding: “Honestly, my sister, Deidra Dixon, and my daughter, Corinne Marie, saved my life. So to them, to God, to many great medical people, I can leave you this video.”
