Hollywood star Jamie Foxx has finally been seen in public for the first time since he was hospitalized for a mysterious illness. In a video clip shared online, Foxx can be seen smiling and waving in a black t-shirt and sunglasses while standing on a boat moving down the Chicago River.
This new sighting comes after the actor checked into a medical facility in Chicago where he has been rehabilitating after a hospital stay in Atlanta.

The “Django Unchained” actor was recently seen in public for the first time since he was hospitalized for an as-yet-unknown illness.
Foxx, who is working on a new movie, “Back In Action,” with actress Cameron Diaz, has been rehabbing at a Chicago facility where he has regular visits from family members.
In a video obtained by TMZFoxx looked like he was finally back on his feet as he smiled from the moving boat as he waved to a group of excited fans who had passed him in their own vessels.
The movie star wore a pair of sunglasses and a dark T-shirt and also had some company on the mega-boat, which is reportedly cruising down the Chicago River.

According to a Page Six reports, Foxx’s California villa is being renovated while the actor continues to recover in a private facility.
The Mediterranean-style mansion, valued at $10.5 million, consists of a living room, several bedrooms, a bathroom, a dining room, a gym, a kitchen, a library, a game room, a recording studio and a large five-car garage.
This beautiful mansion also has areas for outdoor sports activities, including tennis courts, basketball courts and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

The pictures obtained by the news outlet provide visual evidence of the ongoing renovations that are taking place in the sprawling 17,000 square feet residence. One photo shows a large trash can filled with discarded construction materials in the mansion’s backyard.
Another photo reveals the presence of craftsman’s equipment, including ladders and workmen’s tables, alongside piles of wooden slabs.
Meanwhile, it is not clear whether these renovations were carried out in preparation for Foxx’s return or simply routine maintenance tasks carried out on the property.

Foxx’s daughter Corinne was recently forced to shut down false reports about her father’s health after word began to spread that his condition was worsening.
Taking to her Instagram story, she noted at the time that she had been evacuated from the hospital and was now “recovering” from the effects of her medical emergency.
Corinne, who co-hosts the game show “Beat Shazam” with her father, also explained that Foxx’s physical abilities have not been affected at all, adding that her father also participates in pickleball games at the facility where he is recovering.

In the midst of his much-anticipated hiatus from social media due to his health battle, Foxx made a brief return to show his gratitude to fans and congratulations for their prayers and support.
“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” he said, alongside a heart and fox emoji, as reported by Explosion.
Foxx also made sure to thank “The Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon on his Instagram Story, referring to the comedian’s temporary position as host of “Beat Shazam” in his absence. Kelly Osbourne will also fill in for Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, amid her father’s recovery.

Although the father-daughter duo has been temporarily replaced on “Beat Shazam,” they have another upcoming gig together as hosts of a new musical puzzle game show called “We Are Family” on FOX, which will premiered next year, 2024.
“We are very excited to develop We are family with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment after so much success with six seasons Hit Shazam,” Foxx and his daughter said, in a joint statement, per People magazine.
“We hope this show brings as much fun to viewers at home as we have created it when it airs next year,” they added.
