Foxx, who was hospitalized in April due to what his daughter Corinne described as “medical complications” at the time, candidly revealed his recent harrowing health experience in an Instagram video to fans, describing it as a journey to ” hell and back.”
The 55-year-old entertainer shared her personal story in the video, explaining the physical and emotional challenges she faced during her health scare.
“I can’t begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back. I went through something I thought I would never go through,” Foxx shared as he thanked fans.
He later explained that he kept the situation a secret because he didn’t want fans to see him in that state with “the tubes running out of me” and “trying to figure out if I was going to make it.”
“But I went to hell and back. My road to recovery also has some potholes but I will come back, and I can work,” he added.
