Reports have revealed that Jamie Foxx’s sprawling California mansion is being renovated amid his rehab at a Chicago facility.
Pictures taken at the residence revealed that work is being done on the property while the actor’s health status is still unknown.

The sprawling mansion, valued at $10.5 million, consists of a living room, several bedrooms, and a bathroom, along with a dining room, gym, kitchen, library, game room, recording studio, and a large five-car garage.
It also has areas for outdoor sports activities, including basketball courts, tennis courts and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

Photographs obtained by the publication provide visual evidence of renovations underway at the 17,000-square-foot residence on Friday. One particular photo shows a dumpster full of discarded construction materials in the mansion’s backyard.
Another image captures the presence of craftsman’s equipment, including ladders and workmen’s tables, alongside piles of wooden slabs.
Meanwhile, it’s unclear if these renovations were carried out in preparation for Foxx’s return or if they were just routine maintenance tasks carried out on the property.

News of the ongoing home renovation comes after a source said the actor is “still not himself” despite receiving “the best care” since his health crisis in April, per People’s Magazine.
At the time, the actor was in Atlanta filming Netflix’s “Back In Action,” but then developed medical complications that led to a stint in the hospital. He was later transferred to a private facility in Chicago, where he is undergoing rehabilitation.

Boyega told Many people that he spoke on the phone with Foxx after several attempts during his appearance at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday.
“I congratulated him directly,” Boyega told the publication, confirming his colleague was “doing well.” He added, “I give him all my best wishes. So I’ll just wait until he gets back here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”
Datari Turner, who joined Foxx as a co-producer on “They Cloned Tyrone,” also told the publication that the actor is “in great shape and spirit” and will be “back to work soon.”

The film directed by Nick Cassavetes, “God is a Bullet,” is an action thriller film which takes its name from Bob Terran’s novel of the same name.
