In excerpts from her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” released by Many people magazine on Thursday, the Princess of Pop lamented being used for her father’s “cash flow” and nothing else. At the start of her conservatorship in 2008, Britney lamented how she was “too sick to choose my own boyfriend but somehow healthy enough to appear on sitcoms and morning shows, and perform for thousands of people in different parts of the world every week. .”

“From that moment on, I began to think that he saw me as put on earth for no other reason than to help their cash flow,” Britney wrote, claiming that he told her, “I’m Britney Spears now” at the start of her 13-year conservatorship.

Britney's father Jamie Spears arrived at the UCLA hospital to see his daughter Britney, he was clearly stressed. The star's ambulance was surrounded by a convoy of police cars as he left his Beverly Hills home, after the huge incident which saw the property surrounded by emergency services. Police, paramedics and US rangers were seen entering the star's luxury compound and opening the property's fire doors late on Wednesday night (30Jan08). Spear's mother Lynne, who was in LA visiting her eldest son, was seen entering the house, followed by the star's father Jamie, who was seen crying as he arrived at the property. As the pop star was taken to the hospital, Lynne Spears was seen following the ambulance in a car with her daughter's paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. Spears was admitted to UCLA around 1.30am on Thursday (31Jan08) morning, with her longtime friend/manager Sam Lutfi seen leaving the facility shortly after. The star will be held in hospital on a metal health order, according to TMZ.com. The 26-year-old was previously admitted to LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier this month (03Jan08) after a three-hour standoff with police, and was held for two days on a '5150 hold' order, meaning medics had reason to believe he was a danger to himself or others. One of the biggest moments that led to his conservatorship was when the pop star publicly shaved his head in 2007 while paparazzi were taking pictures through the window. “I’ve been the eyeball growing up, I’ve been looked up and down, people have told me what they think of my body, since I was a teenager. Shaving my head and acting is my way of refusing,” he wrote in another quote obtained by People magazine.

However, once he was placed under conservatorship, everything changed. “But under the conservatorship, I understood that those days were now over. I had to grow my hair out and get back into shape,” she wrote. “I had to go to bed early and take whatever medicine they told me to take.”

He revealed that, in addition to being shamed by the media, he is now also constantly being scrutinized by his father. “If I think being criticized about my body in the press is bad, it hurts more than my own father. He repeatedly told me I looked fat and I needed to do something about it,” she wrote.

“Feeling like you’re never good enough is a soul-crushing situation for a child,” she continued. “He passed that message on to me as a girl, and even after I had accomplished so much, he continued to do so to me.”
