Jan Josephs, former husband of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs, has died. PEOPLE confirmed that Jan died after suffering a sudden heart attack. Margaret made Jan’s passing public through an emotional Instagram post.
He wrote, “Today is Jan’s 75th birthday, he passed away suddenly last week and part of us died with him. We are heartbroken. The night before he left us, we shared a beautiful conversation about how lucky we were, our children were all successful and happy, and we could only brag to each other. We talk every day, he is my family.”
He ended the post, “Jan was a father, grandfather, friend, partner to his girlfriend, he loved everyone unconditionally, he loved Motown, exercise and Italian food, but most of all he loved his family. I chose this photo not not only because it’s one of her favorites but because she has a young spirit and will always be young. Happy Birthday my angel.”
According to his obituary, Jan died on August 22, 2022. A funeral service was held on August 31, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors.
