Jana Kramer Opens Up About Ex Mike Caussin Cheating Woes

Jana Kramer is spilling the tea about her ex-husband Mike Caussin more than a year after their divorce.

When the couple walked down the aisle in May 2015, Kramer had no idea that the marriage would end six years later because of Caussin’s infidelity. However, that’s what happened, prompting the singer to file for divorce in 2021.

Speaking about the situation surrounding the decline of her marriage, Kramer took a seat on Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Red Table Talk.” In a preview of the next episode of the Facebook Watch show, the 38-year-old became emotional talking about his turbulent marriage to Caussin.

When co-host Smith wanted to confirm whether the former NFL player “cheated with about 13 women,” the country music star quickly added that it was “a lot more.” The “Story” singer, who welcomed two children — Jolie and Jace — with the soccer player during their marriage, also talked about how painful it is to spend certain holidays without them. In his words:

“I know we’re both in better shape. But I think about this year; my kids won’t wake up in my house [on] Christmas day. That one will hurt.”

Through tears, the “Love at First Bark” actress added, “That’s when I got like — ‘That’s not fair.’ He took away my dreams of what I wanted for my family. That’s not fair.”

Although Kramer and Caussin met and started dating in August 2014, they briefly ended the relationship two weeks later. The “90210” actress later hinted that they broke up because of the football player’s infidelity.

The couple eventually reconciled and then married a year later. Unfortunately, more infidelity scandals followed their marriage, leading to another split. Caussin also sought treatment for sex addiction in 2016 because she realized she was using sex to “hide” her feelings and “run away from reality.”

Despite Caussin and Kramer’s efforts to make their marriage work, it ultimately failed for the last time in April 2021, when they filed for divorce. The legislative proposal was finalized in July of the same year.

Since then, the “Why Ya Wanna” singer has been working on herself and moving past her troubled past. The Blast shared that the mother of two used the two photos to share a message about staying away from abusive relationships and moving on in a healthy way.

While the first image shows Kramer looking down at a sign that reads, “I’m Broken & I’m not enough,” the second features him smiling at another sign with the words, “I’m not broken. I’m enough.” The “Dead/Undead” star captioned the post:

“Voices in my head…. I have been physically and emotionally abused in past relationships. I allow certain behaviors to continue because I actually believe the negative voices in my head are telling me.”

The voices she refers to whisper things like: “No one will want you,” “you’re the problem,” “I almost didn’t reject you, don’t be so dramatic,” “you bruise easily, I barely touch you, you’re crazy, ” and “if you wear something sexier, I’ll sleep with you.”

The Blast reported earlier this year that Kramer was trying to move on with her love life with Ian Schinelli, a personal trainer. Although his popularity is not the same as that of the country singer, it does not affect the love couple’s feelings for each other.

In fact, the “Good As You Were Bad” hitmaker decided to make the relationship official, uploading a series of sweet photos showcasing her joy at finding someone so loving. He used his caption to explain how he continues to work on his healing process and acknowledges the vast amount of work that still needs to be done. Kramer wrote:

“To find someone who doesn’t see your scars as a challenge or a problem but helps you endure them and stands there to encourage you with love, strength and empathy along the way.”

Although the post got a few likes and comments, it was deleted as the relationship ended in April 2022.
