38-year-old country music singer Jana Kramer has made a name for herself thanks to hit singles like “I Got The Boy” and “Why You Wanna.”
Kramer has a new single, “Nicest Thing,” which is a sassy new take on the typical breakup song. The singer is promoting her new single with a sexy new Instagram photo.

Jana Kramer posted a black-and-white photo to social media of herself wearing cut-off denim shorts, a black bikini top and an oversized white shirt. “If it was mine to do over again, I’d let you stand there instead. I’d walk away with no regrets…..no regrets,” she wrote in the Instagram caption, which is a lyric from her latest single, “The Best Thing.”
Fans immediately took to the comments section, sharing their support for Kramer. “The most beautiful mama inside and out,” wrote one fan.
Another simply commented, “Smokin’.”
“Nicest Thing” is out now, which was written as a result of Kramer reflecting on some of his past relationships. “[I thought], to save us both headaches, I hope you never say hello. Because sometimes it can be very exhausting and very toxic,” she told PEOPLE. “And I think just in the writing room, that’s when I just got the idea of all the things you can say to me like, ‘I love you, ‘ or ‘You’re great.’ Actually, the best thing you ever said was never saying hello.”

“This is a very difficult photo for me to look at,” he began. “One might look at this and see two smiling faces. A daughter with her mother. But what lies beneath that smile is something I still struggle to talk about to this day.”
She continued, “I don’t remember the reasons I told people when I was flying home to get away from my abuser about the cuts and scrapes on my shoulders and arms, or why my ribs hurt. But when I saw this photo, that was it. . I saw. I saw a girl with broken bones who a few weeks earlier was pinned to the ground while the man who ‘loved’ me choked me saying that he was going to kill me. I was so ashamed.”

Kramer says he was manipulated into thinking no one would believe him and that the reason he was beaten or choked was because he was bad and he deserved it.

“For years I’ve held onto that belief and one day I’ll talk more about the abuse that followed that one and the pattern that continued, but honestly it’s been a journey and one I’m still trying to figure out. It’s not an abusive relationship. last,” he continued. “One of the hardest rocks I threw in the river when I was on location was the ‘I deserve to be abused’ rock because that’s what I thought for so long. I held on to that for years thinking it was true. That’s what I was made for believe me. I speak to help others and hope to help at least one person reading this to talk to someone.”
