He wrote a lengthy message along with the announcement.

I will play old songs. New song. Songs you haven’t heard yet that I’m going to road test – all on acoustic, electric and piano.”

Mayer appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in December.

Cooper asked Mayer about his upcoming music show.

When asked what “metaphors” keep him up at night, the singer revealed, “Whether I have to release the whole record as my next release or one song at a time. Can’t tell.”

He explained that if you release an entire record, you have about a week of popularity and buzz.

“But the song at one time comes out, you get repeated shots. Repeatedly see the ball,” he explained.

Well, it looks like he’s scrapped this idea and will put it all into his solo arena tour.

Cooper also asked about the feeling he gets when performing on stage in front of thousands of fans.

“Father Cooper” shared Mayer’s news and captioned the screenshot, “DADDY GANG I bet we had something to do with this… he’s back!! Full acoustic tour just him k I’m going there who else is going? @johnmayer we appreciate you.”
