Jane Fonda’s cancer battle is almost over!
Fans first learned of the actress’ health problems when she revealed via social media that she had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in September. However, Fonda seems unconcerned about her diagnosis or future outcomes, claiming that she feels “lucky” because it is “very treatable” and that she has the privilege of accessing the best medical facilities.

Ever since Fonda announced her ordeal with a disease that occurs when an individual’s body produces an excess amount of abnormal lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell, fans have been hoping for an improvement.
They finally got their wish when the “Barbarella” star — who turns 85 on Dec. 21 — revealed via her website that her cancer is in remission. Describing it as “THE BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER!!!,” he began:
“I feel very blessed, very lucky. I thank all of you who prayed and sent me good thoughts. I’m sure it played a role in the good news.”
The Academy Award winner – previously diagnosed with skin and breast cancer – explained that she was “especially happy” because, while her first four chemotherapy treatments were “fairly easy” for her, the last one was not.
The treatment was so severe that it became “difficult to accomplish much.” Fortunately the “effect disappeared” in time for the star of “Grace and Frankie” to travel to Washington to participate in a climate rally.
After encouraging readers and fans to get more involved in the climate change movement, Fonda thanked her supporters for the “good hope” they have shown so far. The actress must have felt that desire when she turned up at a birthday bash last month.
The party was held to raise funds for the Georgia Campaign for Teen Power & Potential (GCAPP) — Fonda’s teen pregnancy prevention and teen health organization.

The Blast reports that the Golden Lion Honorary Award winner revealed her feelings when she told the news publication, “I didn’t lose my hair. I don’t feel nauseous. The week when I got chemo was tough, but after that, I felt good. I feel very strong.”
The 84-year-old admitted that although he sometimes feels weak as a result of his treatment, his solace comes from the fact that he is “halfway through” the process, which is “easier than many other cancer treatments”.
Overall, Fonda felt “fabulous” and looked even better in the embellished black gown she wore for the event. The National Women’s Hall of Fame inductee made sure she used her star power to entertain A-list guests like Sara Blakely, Tyler Perry, Glennon Doyle, Ludacris, Sanjay Gupta, and his wife, Rebecca.
The turnout generated a lot of cash flow, raising over $1 million in funds for the foundation.

The blazer, which comes with a belted midsection, fits her figure perfectly and draws attention to the white shirt underneath. For bottoms, the “Coming Home” cast stepped out for gray slacks and matching boots.
The Blast shared that the former fashion model kept her accessories simple, wearing gold earrings, bracelets and watches. Her short silver hair framed her lightly made-up face.
The conference, a non-partisan, non-profit, professional and personal development event, which seeks to empower women, features over 100 high-profile speakers. They touch on important issues that affect women’s lives, including work/life balance, health, personal finance, business and entrepreneurship, executive leadership, and more.
During his session, Fonda kept the atmosphere relaxed with some lighthearted jokes that kept the crowd laughing. According to the conference’s website, she and her close friend Lily Tomlin — who was added to the lineup for the day — and are scheduled to have “conversations about friendship, career resilience, age, activism and more.”
The event was just one of many that the cast of “Elena and the Secret of Avalor” graced with his presence. Insiders at the time claimed that Fonda still follows the work of climate activists and his political action committee.
