After splitting from the TV personality, Janelle Brown may be rekindling her marriage with her ex-husband, Kody Brown. The “Sister Wives” star recently got emotional about her financial issues on a recent episode of the show.
Janelle, a mother of six, stated that she could no longer handle the financial stress on herself and their children. He still shares the property with Kody, which he may use to get back on his feet. Janelle previously shared her plans to move into a new house with one of her ex-wives.

Given the situation, a close source revealed to US Sun that Janelle could run to Kody for financial help. Janelle hit it off on the Sept. 10 episode of the reality show “Sister Wives,” where she explained that she was struggling financially and needed help. Janelle shares six children with Kody: Hunter, Logan, Garrison, Savanah, Gabriel, and Maddie.
Janelle notes that children contribute to financial problems. She was frustrated with herself for not being able to “do things on her own” as she focused on taking care of her children.
“I’m stuck. Financially, I have nothing,” Janelle said, adding, “I can’t believe I’m 50 years old and I can’t do my own thing because I’m so tied to them financially. And I can’t do anything.”

According to US Sun, Janelle’s reason for wanting to patch things up with Kody simply has to do with how little money she has. He plans to get money from the property he shares with his ex. A source told the news outlet, “Knowing Janelle on a personal level, I see her going back to Kody.”
They added that Janelle was dependent on her ex-partner and would find it difficult to stand on her own. The two were married for over 25 years before calling it quits in 2022.
The source continued, “He won’t have any money until they figure out how to divide the money from the property. And that’s why I think he’s going back to Kody.”
Throwing a subtle jab at the reality star, they explained that Janelle is used to relying on Kody for financial support, both for herself and their children.
The source said, “He’s never going to be able to do things independently. He’s never been in his life financially [stable].”
Kody Brown Buys Real Estate With His Ex-Wife
In 2018, Kody bought Coyote Pass, four parcels of land, with his ex-wife in Flagstaff. They had planned to build a house for themselves and their children. Following their split, several of Kody’s ex-wives pulled out of the partnership, selling their plots to the 54-year-old.
Janelle’s plot is reportedly still intact, as the land is registered in her and Kody’s name. However, construction has yet to begin on the land as it is still empty as it was before the purchase, according to photos taken earlier this year.
A source disclosed to US Sun that Coyote Pass is underdeveloped. They stated that “there has not been any discussion” of turning it into something else. The source also said that the owner was confused about what to do with the $800,000-plus land, given how expensive it was to buy.
They said, “It is expensive, and they must agree to their plan.” The news outlet confirmed this by reporting that no new building permits have been filed on the land since Kody and his ex-wife bought it.

Janelle previously revealed her plans to move from her current apartment to a larger apartment in season 18 of “Sister Wives.”
He told Christine Brown, Kody’s first estranged wife, that he wanted a home where his children would feel comfortable.
His plans are drawn on a large piece of paper detailing how he wants things to be built. At the time, Janelle referred to how backward the land was.
“I thought we’d be further along in the construction process, but that just took a long time,” he said of the vacant land.
