The former “Bachelor” contestant opened up about her split from Bristowe on the Monday, Aug. 22, episode of her “Trade Secrets” podcast.
“Kaitlyn [Bristowe] have been in LA working this week so I’m lucky enough to have the boys with me and it’s a real blessing,” referring to their dogs Ramen and Pinot.
He continued, “I was just thinking through this time and it’s like, honestly, we talk a lot about careers and money here, and that’s a big foundation of our lives, but it just comes down to relationships, friendships and those who are in around. you. And even though Ramen and Pinot are animals and pets, they are my best friends, and having them with me is amazing. Having a great support system [in the] The last few months have been everything to me. I’ve leaned on them more than I’ve ever in my life — ever — leaned on my support system.”
Throughout this difficult time in her life, Tartick continued therapy as she tried to cope with different feelings, including both “the ebb and flow of depression” and “times where, like, you feel uplifted and you feel good again”.
“And it’s just this flood of emotions going back and forth. And what I’ve learned is, you know, grieving is just the whole process of honoring, honoring and loving what is, but then also at the same time, with the same level, and if not more, honoring, honoring. and have love for what is,” added Tartick.

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick announced their split after four years of dating and three years of engagement. Although Tartick admitted he’s feeling “a little better” in recent days, he admitted, “I’m not trying to thrive here. You know, I’m trying to barely survive here.”

“And I feel blessed to be saying this at 34 years old, but the grief that I’ve had in the past, like, months has been the hardest grief that I’ve ever had in my life,” she added. “And I know when I say it at 34, I’m very lucky because breaking up with a fiance is the hardest grief I’ve ever experienced.”
