Jeannie Mai has made stunning claims about her breakup with rapper Young Jeezy, claiming she had no idea it was happening.
Mai appeared on the show “The Jennifer Hudson”, where she spoke frankly about the state of her marriage and how she found out about her divorce.
According to the former host of “The Real,” she found out about her divorce from Jeezy at the same time as “the whole world.” Now, she is focused on “taking part” and being a mother to her daughter Monaco.
The one-year-old recently became the talk of the town when Jeezy accused Mai of acting as a “gatekeeper” and interfering with their father-son relationship.

While chatting with Hudson, Mai expressed how “broken” she was by the split from Jeezy, whom she married in 2021 during the pandemic in an intimate wedding at their home in Atlanta.
“I was going through something and the marriage ended in divorce and it was quite difficult. That’s what I deal with day by day, you know,” said Mai, adding, “I think I’m getting better now.”
The 44-year-old said he was “saddened” by the news that he claimed he had gone blind, but stressed that he was now working for himself and being there for his daughter.
Mai said, “The moment I found out at the same time as the rest of the world that my marriage ended in divorce, I was devastated. Today is about picking up the pieces. It’s about finding me and being a mother to the best blessing in my life, my daughter. “
She continued, “Even though this year, I met the most broken version of me, I also met the strongest version of me.”
Further in her conversation with Hudson, Mai gushes about her daughter, saying that she is “everything” and “just my whole world.” She happily added, “Every parent can tell you that when you have a baby, you get a chance to be reborn. The whole world has become a completely different place to me because of Monaco, so reviving my life and nurturing myself through This little girl has been the greatest gift of my life.”

Mai’s recent appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson” show, came after her estranged husband accused her of “interfering” with his ability to bond with their daughter, Monaco.
In a legal filing obtained by ExplosionJeezy claimed that Mai acted as a “gatekeeper” between him and Monaco, but stated that he “does not believe that (she) acted with malice or with the specific intent to damage (her) relationship with the child.”
Court documents allege that Mai’s unintended “interference” in Jeezy and Monaco’s relationship “caused confusion and tension” between the former couple and also strained the development of Jeezy’s relationship with his daughter.
It continued, “Therefore, it is necessary at this point to separate, structure and clearly define the parties’ temporary legal and physical custody rights and establish a parenting schedule that is consistent with the best interests of the Child.”

Following Jeezy’s legal filing, Mai quickly fired back, stating that the rapper was unfaithful. According to his filing, obtained by Explosionthe couple signed a prenuptial agreement, which mandated that a penalty must be paid by the unfaithful party during the marriage.
The reality TV star’s representative stated that the payment must be made by the unfaithful spouse if the court decides to enforce their prenup.
Attorney Mai wrote: “The wife further points out that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity, which provides, in the relevant part, that if either party engages in sexual relations, emotional relations, or emotional or sexual relations. indecency in communication with third parties through all forms of electronic communication”
According to the statement, the form of communication can be “sms, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages.” If Mai or Jeezy is found guilty of any of these sexually charged acts, they will result in “significant financial penalties on the adulterer as set forth in the Prenuptial Agreement.”
Jeezy has denied Mai’s infidelity claims, with the rapper’s spokesperson telling Us Weekly that “Any claims of infidelity on behalf of Mr. Jenkins are 100 percent false.”
