Jen Shah may be in jail, but there aren’t enough cells to stop her from standing up for her honor, especially regarding her time on Bravo!
The former cast member of the reality TV series “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” recently responded to allegations of physical assault by Heather Gay. The latter, who made his sinister black eye debut in the show’s third season, finally revealed Shah as his attacker in the season 4 finale.
Jen Shah Claims Bravo ‘Can’t Live Without Me’ Following Heather Gay’s Accusations
Despite being in jail, Shah seems to be keeping up with the “RHOSLC” drama as he vehemently denied Gay’s black eye allegations shortly after the episode aired on Tuesday night. The 50-year-old took the matter to task on social media, accusing Bravo of desperately holding him back for content. His statement begins:
“BRAVO, if I punch Heather in the eye, you’ll have the footage to prove it. Obviously the show couldn’t survive without me since I grew up in the beginning, middle and end of season 4.”

Shah claims showrunner Andy Cohen once contacted him for an interview, a moment he insisted would not have happened if he had actually attacked Gay. His closing argument reads:
“Andy is still hurt because I refused his 1:1 interview. Why would you sit with someone who ‘gives’ a cast member a black eye? Next story.”
As mentioned, Shah’s Instagram Story statement came after Gay’s dramatic revelation about the cause behind his famous black eye. After almost a year of mystery, she finally opened up about the issue in the show’s 4th season finale.
The big reveal came when Gay and co-stars Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, and Whitney Rose confronted new housewife Monica Garcia over her rumored involvement in Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease.
Gay compared Garcia’s suspicious behavior to Shah’s former BFF, noting that she and the other housewives had “shut down any feelings of doubt” about their former co-star. In his words:
“We’re friends, and we’ve been through this before with Jen…I went on a book tour and defended her and took s— because she gave me a black eye.”

Naturally, the bomb shocked the group with a bewildered Mark asking, “What?” while Barlow exclaimed, “Wow.” Their reaction prompted further explanation from Gay, who directed his frustration at Garcia.
“I had to ride hard to [Jen], and I had to lie for him. We won’t do it again with you,” he said before telling Garcia to “pack his bags and leave.” Gay’s black eye happened after partying late into the night with his alleged attacker and Marks.
At the time, how he ended up with the evil glow wasn’t documented on the reality TV series because the cameras weren’t rolling. Gay refused to share what happened but once told his cousin and fellow actress Whitney Rose, “I think we all know what happened; I don’t think we want to talk about it.”
Jen Shah Wants This Kardashian To Cast Her In A Possible Biopic
Weeks before Gay’s allegations against Shah came to light, the 50-year-old was excited about the possibility of a biopic and who he wanted to play the role. His comments about the hypothetical project came after actress Emma Stone name-dropped the former Bravo star.

During the premiere of her new movie, “Poor Things,” Stone was asked which “RHOSLC” housewives she wanted famed filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos to focus on in the “Real Housewives” biopic. Without wasting time, he exclaimed, “Jen Shah! Duh. Can you imagine?”
Days after Stone’s words, Shah’s manager, Chris Giovanni, revealed his client was “distraught over the phone” when he shared the news. According to him, the incarcerated entertainer is very excited about the possibility of having a biopic.
Shah, who entered prison in February following his guilty plea in a telemarketing scam, reportedly considered it an honor for Stone to choose him for a possible project. If it comes true, the 50-year-old has the perfect person to play himself.
Giovanni claims his client wants Kim Kardashian to take up the mantle and plans to help her achieve the best picture of her life with the necessary information. Shah has actively documented his prison experience, compiling 100-150 pages of notes for future reference.
