Jennifer Aniston has broken her silence on the death of her “Friends” co-star Matthew Perry, who was found unconscious in his hot tub last month.
A while ago, the actress shared several photos, including a screenshot of Perry and Aniston’s conversation before her death.
“Oh boy this has cut in…,” Aniston began writing on social media. “Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been a crazy wave of emotions I’ve never experienced before. We all experience loss at some point in our lives. Loss of life or loss of love.”

She continued, “Being able to really SIT in this grief allows you to feel moments of joy and gratitude for having loved someone that deeply. And we love her so much. She’s part of our DNA. There’s always been six of us. This is a chosen family that for – forever changing our course and what we will go through.”
It was previously reported that the “Friends” actress had struggled with Perry’s death, and even reportedly kept to herself at her funeral.
The 54-year-old actor arrived at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles on Nov. 3 for Perry’s memorial. He appeared first, with his bodyguard right by his side. Although he arrived first, he waited for his other ‘Friends’ cast members — Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer — to get there before going inside so they could go in together. Matt LeBlanc met them later.

The “Friends” star then added, “For Matty, he KNOWS he likes to make people laugh. As he said himself, if he didn’t hear ‘laughter’ he thought he would die. His life really depended on it. And did he succeed in doing just that. He made us all laugh. And laugh out loud. In recent weeks, I’ve been pouring out our texts to each other. Laugh and cry then laugh again. I will keep it forever. I found a text he sent me out of nowhere one day. It says it all.”
He ended by saying, “Matty, I love you so much and I know you are now completely at peace and not in any pain. I talk to you everyday… sometimes I can almost hear you say “could you get any crazier?” Rest sister. You always make my day…”

Jennifer Aniston is struggling hard in the wake of Matthew Perry’s death, even worrying her loved ones.
“Of the five left, Jen and Courtney [Cox] falters the most, and Jen is probably the one who struggles the most,” said a source close to the actress, according to our previous report. “It is the second major loss in less than a year, with the first anniversary of his father’s death coming up soon. He still hasn’t fully recovered from that, and now this has completely knocked him out.”
“He’s trying to regroup and recover, but it’s a devastating blow,” the source added.
The “Friends” director also stated that Aniston and Courteney Cox were ‘devastated’ after they learned of Perry’s passing. “I texted the girls the day we found out,” he said. “They have been destroyed. It is a brother who is dying.”
