Coolidge was so overcome with emotion that she had difficulty at first pulling the words out of her mouth after she stepped on stage to collect her award for her Best Supporting Actress win for her role in “The White Lotus.”
He threw in a funny tidbit to explain the lack of words. The actress said, “I just wanted to say that I took a lavender bath today right before the show and it made me swell up in my clothes, and I’m having a hard time talking.”
As he thanked his supporters and the performers, Coolidge was played by the music but stood his ground and continued his speech of appreciation. At one point, he was blown away by the band’s sound, which included songs like “Hit the Road Jack” to the delight of the audience.

‘The White Lotus’ Season 2
After her Emmy win, Coolidge was scheduled to reprise her role in “The White Lotus.” She starred as Tanya McQuoid in the comedy drama, which premiered on HBO in July 2021, to critical acclaim from fans and critics.
The visitors and staff of the fictional White Lotus resort chain are the focus of the television show, and their dysfunction is detailed throughout the series. While the first installment of the show was set in Hawaii, the upcoming sequel will be set in Sicily.
