Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has revealed that special words are engraved on the engagement ring she was given by her newlywed husband, Ben Affleck.
In her recently released interview with “Apple Music One’s” Zane Lowe, Lopez recounted how the first diamond ring her then-fiancé Affleck gave her had “Sing” written on it and the meaning behind the words engraved on the engagement the new ring.
The “Hustlers” star reflected on how her first breakup with the Oscar winner in 2004 sent her into a spiral claiming she felt like she was “honestly going to die.” Ahead of the release of his new album, “This is me…Now”, Lopez said the words on the ring inspired songs on the upcoming record and also revealed the message behind his new project.

During her interview on Apple Music One, Lopez revealed to host Zane Lowe that the engagement ring her newlywed husband Ben Affleck gave her had the words “Not.Going.Anywhere.” written on it.
The celebrity couple, nicknamed “Bennifer” by fans, rekindled their romance in 2021 and married in August 2022, almost 20 years after splitting in 2004, with the singer claiming they are more confident about their relationship this time around.
“I remember my first diamond ring, he gave me a pink diamond ring, it said ‘sing’ and this one he put ‘doesn’t.go.anywhere.’ because that’s how he’ll sign his emails when we start talking again. Like don’t worry… I’m not going anywhere,” the singer said E! News.
The couple first exchanged vows on July 16 in Las Vegas and then in August this year in the presence of friends and family. Also present at the event were Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, who she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, and Affleck’s children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. They held a lavish ceremony that lasted three days at the famous actor’s Georgian estate.

Talking about how her upcoming record captures the moment she fell in love with Affleck and how their current job is better than the first, the “On the floor” singer tells how her first breakup caused her to suffer for the next 18 years.
The Grammy award winner recalled the fallout as being so “painful” that she “wouldn’t perform” any songs from “This is me… Then“.
“Once we called off the wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest sadness of my life and I honestly felt like I was going to die. It sent me into a spiral for the next 18 years where I couldn’t get it right, but now, 20 years later, it has a happy ending,” the pop star said.
Lopez, 53, and the actor, 50, began dating in the early 2000s and were engaged before calling off their wedding in the fall of 2003 due to undue media attention. “That’s part of what destroyed us, the outside energy coming at us. It’s hard and we love each other,” Lopez claimed Online Mail.

In a recent TikTok post, Lopez revealed the tracklist for her new project, with track 6 inspired by the inscription on an engagement ring from Affleck.
Track 6 on the album is titled “not.going.anywhere”. has the power couple’s beautiful love story written all over it.
“One of the songs I wrote on the album that’s on the inside of the engagement ring he gave me, it says no periods at all,” she said in an interview with Lowe.
His New Album Will Be Released In 2023

He is set to release a new album in 2023, which will be his first album in 9 years. It is the sequel to his third studio album, “This is me…Then,” which turns 20 this November.
After releasing her last album, “AKA” in 2014, Lopez has dropped popular hits like “Dinero” (featuring Cardi B and DJ Khaled) and “Kami” (featuring Skrillex), among others.
As for the message behind “This Is Me…Now,” the 53-year-old pop star said it’s about “keeping the faith when it comes to love.”
“If you’ve ever, like me, lost hope or almost given up, don’t! Because true love does exist, and some things last forever,” he said.
