The actor said he now feels “very blessed and very lucky to be standing up and walking around and living life” as he recovers from multiple injuries.

The accident happened on New Year’s Day at Renner’s home in Reno, Nevada. “The Avengers” actor was helping his nephew get a car stuck in a snow-filled driveway at his home. His injuries included broken ribs, ankles, knees, shoulders, and severe chest trauma.

He told CNN, “I am very, very clear. My life is very lean, if that makes sense. No more fat in my life. I don’t have time for that. So, there’s something very beautiful about having that superpower.”
