The “Fantastic Four” alum said he recognizes it as a business decision and a necessary strategy to help promote certain projects he’s involved with. “I think I understand that I have to help sell the product. And they sell it the way they do, so I understand it as a business decision and a strategy,” he said.
However, Alba also revealed that while she can distance herself from that approach, she starts to feel uneasy from time to time. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with owning your sexuality. I just, frankly, at the time, I wasn’t that person. I was very nervous about it all, and I was a little uncomfortable in my own skin,” he explained, per Insider.

She explained that it wasn’t until she became a mother and had her first child in June 2008, when she was 27, that she began to see herself as a woman and embrace her femininity and power.
“It wasn’t until I became a mother that I began to see myself as a woman or a sexual being or someone who had her power and femininity,” explained the actress. He continued, “At the time, I felt like I really had to put on this masculine armor and masculine energy so that I wouldn’t, you know, be preyed upon because there are so many predators in Hollywood from the age of 12 to 26.”
According to the “Dark Angel” actress, there were many predators in Hollywood when she was between the ages of 12 and 26. He remembered swearing a lot and staying away from anyone who might have bad intentions. “I am a warrior; I put that energy. I’m really tough, man. I curse like a sailor…I think I try to make myself as unavailable as possible so I don’t get taken advantage of,” Alba said.
