Chastain’s growing list of awards is impressive because the actress doesn’t have the performance of most stars. Chastain, who is now married to Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo with two children, comes from a large poor family. He was able to attend Julliard in the late 1990s after receiving support from a now-deceased benefactor.
