The singer-turned-designer uploaded photos from a recent photo shoot with “Bustle” magazine.
While many of his famous friends and followers praised Simpson, many others were absolutely horrified by the image.

One of her biggest fans, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, commented, “Omggggggggggg.”
Paris Hilton left a heart eye emoji while Shay Mitchell left three fire emojis on the post.
Unfortunately, there was more criticism and scorn than praise.
His photo was compared to Jeffree Star, Daryl Hannah and the movie “The Conjuring”.

This person compared it to Star writing, “Why is he giving me Jeffree Star vibes? Not good! I know Jess is beautiful but…?.”
Another commented on the sentiment, “am I the only one who thought this was @jeffreestar?”
Others expressed their grief for Simpson.

Simpson has recently been mocked for her drastic weight loss with many accusing her of using the latest celebrity weight loss trend… Ozempic.
In his “Bustle” interview, the sneaker designer put all Ozempic rumors to rest.
“Oh God. I mean, not (Ozempic),” he explained referring to his weight loss. “It is a will. I was like, do people want me to drink anymore? Because then I was heavier. Or they want me to get pregnant again? My body can’t do it. Will I let the negativity get the better of me? No, I’m too old for that. I’m too in touch with myself right now to let that slip me. It doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt.”
Simpson made the decision to quit drinking in 2017 after struggling with alcoholism.
In 2021, he shared a photo of himself from 2017 writing, “This person in the early morning of Nov 1, 2017 is an unrecognizable version of me. I have so much self-discovery to open and explore. I know in this moment I will allow myself to reclaim my light, show victory over my inner battle for self-respect, and bravely face this world with piercing clarity. Personally, to do this I have to stop drinking alcohol because it makes my mind and heart spin in the same direction and honestly I’m exhausted. I want to feel the pain so I can carry it like a badge of honor.”
Later in the post she explained more about her alcoholism, “There is a lot of stigma around the word alcoholism or the label of alcoholism. The real work to be done in my life is accepting failure, pain, destruction, and self-sabotage. The drinking is not the problem. I already. I didn’t love myself. I didn’t respect my own power. Today I did.”
